At the heart of the Ying Quartet's mission is their LifeMusic commissioning project, dedicated to expanding the string quartet repertoire with works that reflect contemporary American life through collaborations with emerging and established composers.

As long-time quartet-in-residence at the esteemed Eastman School of Music and ensemble-in-residence at the Bowdoin International Music Festival, the Ying Quartet also nurtures the next generation of chamber musicians through their teaching and mentorship.

We can’t wait to see the Ying Quartet at the 2024 Tuckamore Music Festival, August 5-18, 2024, in St. John’s, NL!

Tickets go on sale mid-June! 🎵✨
