Sid was born in Botwood, Newfoundland and has over 30 years of experience in the classroom from Kindergarten to University. He also has spent many years working in board rooms, conferences and workshops with children from age 6+ to companies, colleges and universities across Canada, the United States, Cameroon, Africa and St. Pierre & Miquelon, France. As an avid life long learner himself, Sid be
lieves that there is always room for learning in every environment. He has worked in schools, retail business, ONG's, overseas, musical theater and human resources. Much of his work has involved staff training, creating positive work environment, development of training and working manuals for the educational and business arenas, motivational speaking for dinners, conferences and team training. Sid, through this company, develops workshops based upon principles of multiple intelligence and multiple learning styles. The workshops are designed to be fast paced and participatory. There is a multi-media approach with a focus on humor and audience participation. Sid is a published author and musician. His utilization of open discussion, question and answer opportunities, music, art, games and surprising instructional techniques keep the listener attentive and involved.
