When it comes to the Holiday Floral Trees, I love decorating both, but have to admit, they can both take a little longer to make than I like…personally I love the little handmade Euro Tree, it’s new and exciting!

Hey Stettler, honest post alert!
Tonight I have been at the store WAY past my bedtime. It’s normal for this time of year, and it’s especially normal for making everything perfect the night before Stettler’s Moonlight Madness. Now, I have to say, I know that for retail owners it is a ton of work, but when you own a flower shop, it’s extra tough, because I am building things with my own two hands, each and every arrangement, wreath, pot, grinch tree. A if you will.

But here’s the thing. My little shop is about one block away from the other retailers and boutiques. And every year, down the street, I can see hundreds of people a block and a half away that just can’t quite make it all the way down to the end of the street. People that don’t come past the dark Town building (why don’t they light it up?) and the dark registry to my warm and brightly lit shop, packed full of Christmas goodies. Don’t get me wrong, of course it’s a busy day, and I love every face that makes a point of coming in to see my shop and cash in on specials, it truly means the world to any small business owner. But I can still see down the street, to the crowds of people in front of my friends’ shops, and this year, I have heard from SO MANY people, “youre so far down there!”…and I KNOW it will be cold this year.
But listen, it’s ONE BLOCK. ONE BLOCK on our small mainstreet. I guarantee that you’ve walked further when you go the city and park at the mall. Or probably even when you brave the big box store shops during busy times.
So this year, my Vintage Friends, I dare you to brave the block walk. There is ample parking, (probably closer to downtown than you can get elsewhere!) apple cider, amazing sales, unique gifts and, I promise, a shop owner and staff that will be overjoyed that you made it all the way down the block. 🥰
