I was fortunate to get a break from the grain world over the last 10 days. Even though I tried to cram in appointments that I have neglected to find time for, I got to spend time with my nieces at the exhibition, they even made their own flower arrangements and entered them, spent time on the porch swing reading, some swims were had at the lake, annual friends trip, polished off by picking dahlias and cherry tomatoes with a decent sunset. Back to reality tomorrow.

I have only had this on my to do list every week since tulips season started….but it is now checked off ✅. My selection for tulips were limited as I still have subscriptions to fill. But the yellow against the apple blossoms 🤩!

The short stemmed, and blown open tulips left for the 🐝, had me chasing the sunset tonight. In the garden with the peepers was the perfect way to wrap up the day.

First delivery to the Whistleberry Market and Eatery! I’m so excited for this opportunity. It is a must stop if you are driving by, or in the area. So many local products. They’re smoked meats 🤤. Grab a bite to eat, get some groceries and some spring flowers while you’re at it.

Woke up Sunday with a vision and 1/4 of a plan! Took me a couple days to finish but happy with my planting table in my greenhouse. Dropped down soil bucket for soil blocking, slotted top so spilled soil will fall back into soil bin below. Hoping to get this put to use very shortly and get the mess out of my office!

1 week into a 4 hour project and it is complete! The small by mighty greenhouse lived out its last season last year, I was maxed out on space and the cover was getting ripe. After some searching for a larger replacement, JT talked me in to 6X12 polycarbonate greenhouse (Twist my arm lol). The instructions were absolute trash and we had the walls and roof panels on like 6 times, but we set out to finish it today, it is not perfect but she is done! If i wasn’t worried about doing it harm, there would be a baby duck bottle of champagne broken to christen it! Next step build a potting bench so the soil mess can leave my office!
