What an extended season! Got our first frost last night, making this weekends to do list busy with cleaning up the garden and getting ready for tulips. This season may not of what I had planned, but it was nice to have flowers to enjoy with family and friends ❤️. It was the perfect reminder of why I started, I love growing the beauty and if I can share that, that is the bonus. I’m not competing with anyone, I don’t need to have the most aesthetic garden, the most views on social media. There is happy in mess, the mistakes, the lessons and the rewards of a crocked stem but gorgeous flower. 💐

This year has got me down and questioning everything! To start I was having such a horrible time with germination of seeds, less than thriving seedlings, a busy tulip and daffodil time allowing about 30% just blooming out and not getting picked. Ranunculus and anemones did not grow and now rain, rain. Garden is not looking the bountiful sea of color it should be right now. Weeds are thriving but thankfully so are the dahlias! The summer subscriptions I have sold will be committed to first, but hoping to have more flowers to share with others.

Spring flowers have been slow since tulips. Been enjoying walking around grabbing what is in bloom what’s pretty. This evening’s bouquet went to my mother in law for her wedding anniversary tomorrow!

You all blew me away! I didn’t think I was going to offer mother day bundles this year but you all sent in your orders, we made a waiting list and boom! Mother Nature provided, lots of orders being delivered and picked up tomorrow. Thank you!! 😊

This weekend did not go as planned, great weather, but just didn’t get that list done as being pulled away for emergencies (I’m a volunteer firefighter and medical first responder). So this week will be busy with subscription orders and garden work to get caught up. If you don’t have a subscription but are looking for some flower bunches shot me a message!

Spring subscribers! I was hoping to have flowers by first of April, but with high winds the past couple of weeks I have struggled keeping the plastic over them. Hopefully a few more weeks we will in to beautiful blooms! 🤞🏻

3700 tulip bulbs & 900 daffodil bulbs planted over the weekend, before our weather turned cold. Should be plenty of blooms to go around in the spring!

For some reason my posts and stories are only uploading to Instagram and I didn’t realize that this has been happening for awhile. I apologize if you follow along here and not on Instagram you haven’t been seeing the gorgeous spring flowers. I have lots of tulip and mixed bouquets available. You can message anytime to place an order.

A year ago today, we started demolition of our old kitchen, porch and started to build our dream kitchen and addition. We are so happy with how it turned out. But it was a long endeavour!

This will be the last week for the ranunculus and anemones. If you would like to get your hands on some before they are gone, through me a message!

Those waiting on their orders, I am waiting for these bad boys to open up a bit more, all orders should be completed by end of the week. Thank you for your patients!

I can not Keep up with the blooms! And with sunshine in the forecast and high temps for this time of year, the beds will be just bursting! Wednesday you can pick them up at the Upper Stewiacke Firehall 6:30-8:30 Friday I will be in Truro so can deliver to Brookfield, Hilden and Truro. Let me know by Thursday night! Can you hear them?!? The peepers have been back for awhile but tonight was the Fort night I got a chance to just fully take them in. It is one of my favourite sounds! Puts you at peace ❤️

Goal for the weekend, is to get the tunnels built this weekend. Which allow these babies to get in the ground in the next couple of weeks. Please excuse the mess, there is not one single room not disturbed by the renovations 🙃
