We've just wrapped up all our Christmas Eve order's in record time!

I can't begin to thank you all enough for the support of our business not only this holiday season, but the entire 2024 year.

Our team members who always answer the call when we need extra hands for events and prep, drivers and occasional supply shopper's!
You know who you are, and you are truly the reason we had our busiest year yet!
Even though a couple of you almost blew up a certain event space due to a faulty regulator with our grill, on the one day I was off 😅
(Which would have gave us a ton of free advertising)

Our wonderful clients who continue to include us in all your special days, and to the new client friendships we've made this year! We absolutely love creating for you!

And our family, who often puts up with us being busy with work, ... until our three kids got tired of it and moved out West. So, now we have nothing to do but work anyway.

We're so grateful for all of you every single day, for helping make Van & Co. a success!

For now, we're all taking a much needed break!
We'll be back for all of your NYE orders and then not back to work again until January 6th.

We hope you all have the most magical holidays, filled with love & laughter ... and of course, delicious foods!

I am absolutely NOT ready for Christmas 😂

We have very limited space left over the next two weeks.
This Saturday December 14th, we will be opening up extra ordering space for the 22nd - 24th and the 31st.

Orders booked that day (and after) will be TAX FREE!
We fall into the tax break, but only for ordering on and after December 14th.
So mark your calendars to book early because once all spaces are filled for those listed dates, we will be shutting ordering down and won’t have availability again until after January 6th 2025.

Today is all about the team! 🖤

We wrapped up the last of our major bookings this week after a heavy seven month event season, and we could not have done it without all the extra hands!

Our social updates took lengthy pauses at times, while we waded through many losses and life changes.
We had to navigate some tough days right during our busiest weeks, and the VC team stepped up 👏🏻

During this time it was also discovered that I (Lori! 👋🏼) had Lyme disease. Which explained A LOT in regard to why I was so incredibly fatigued and could no longer focus on tasks, at the rate I had been.
As a small business owner in the service industry with a very small team … there isn’t a choice to stay in bed.
But mannn, did I want too 😅

Tonight I look forward to sitting down at a table with everyone who helped us through 2024 thus far with patience, grace and love.
The ones who are our biggest supporters & believers in what we do, always have our backs, and who always answer the call when we need them most! 🥂

What’s better than one table?

We had two rockstar teams at two locations last weekend for these beauties.

Our ceremony set-up was in the beautiful round barn (Old Barns) for 4pm, followed by the cocktail reception graze on Shortt’s Lake, for 5:30pm.

Every single detail about Caroline & Riley’s wedding day, was absolutely dreamy! 🤍

We’ve just slowed down enough to follow up on our last couple weeks of exciting events!

We were thrilled to be back to style a table for the newest QEII Showhome last week.
A beautiful 1.7M home in Glen Arbour, with a stunning kitchen built for entertaining!
We followed that up a couple of days later with a segment on CTV Morning Live!

Big thanks to the Showhome team, & .belliveau.legault for the opportunity, as well as fuelling me with positivity & coffee on arrival.

I couldn’t have made it happen without the Van & Co. team who moved mountains and also went with little sleep, to ensure our prior Friday morning commitments were met and executed flawlessly 🖤

This fun project has been confidential, but we can finally share! ✨

We were thrilled to be asked to create grazing boxes for the 13 Canadian Premiers & their families on arrival to Halifax this week, for their Council of Federation 2024 summer meeting.

We included several products from other small Nova Scotia businesses and also added some sea glass “box bling” to make them truly unique 🤍

Special thank you to Simone, for choosing us for this project and trusting us to execute it smoothly.
