Tickets are $75+HST. We will be celebrating from 7:30 pm until 1:00 am. The night includes dinner from 8:00 pm until 12:30 am. Champagne toast at midnight and sweet beats to keep us dancing all night by !!

Our last holiday market was way back in 2019. Year after year we have been asked if we will host another market and this year we are ecstatic to say yes!! Join us on December 16th for our 2nd Christmas market!

Come for some family fun and to purchase last minute gifts for your friends, family and perhaps a little something for yourself!

Santa will be making an appearance from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm with a beautiful holiday backdrop. First come first serve! This is included with the door entry fee. *Photos are taken on your own device*

📍The venue will be decked out with festive decor. There will also be lunch items and festive drinks available for purchase. Outdoor fire pits will be lit and s’mores kits will be also be available. $5 entry fee at the door (cash or card).

This past week we were sent some STUNNING galleries from the 2022 wedding season!! Each wedding season goes by much too quickly and during each wedding we are busy hustling behind the scenes so we miss a lot of beautiful moments. We love to look back at the love shared on your wedding day 🤍

As we near the end of the 2022 wedding season we are thinking about all the incredible moments we got to witness - like this beautiful day in August 🤍

The end of each wedding season is bittersweet for us because we miss working with amazing clients and spending our days making wedding dreams come true! BUT there is a silver lining as we are already preparing for the 2023 wedding season and we couldn’t be more excited for a stunning new space that will be available next year!

Weekend Dishwasher

Job Description:

The Meadows is a family run and operated all-inclusive wedding venue. This upcoming wedding season we are looking to expand our team further by hiring a dishwasher. We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and fun individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be organized and able to multitask.

This position requires:

-Washing dishes used by guests at events and kitchen staff by hand and/or dishwasher.
-Fulfill basic cleaning duties that include sweeping, mopping, cleaning washrooms, taking out garbage and recycling, drying and polishing glassware and flatware.
-Providing kitchen staff with basic food prep assistance.
-Assist with bussing and wiping down tables between courses.
-Ability to stand for long periods of time
-A candidate with a license and reliable vehicle

At The Meadows we all work as a team to make sure each event is successful. Weekend and Holiday availability is required.

Benefits:

Year end bonus

Schedule for the entire season will be provided before you start

Schedule:

Part time/ Seasonal

8 hour shifts

Shifts are every Saturday evening and every other Friday or Sunday (May – December)

Job Requirements
- Organized and detail oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Specialize in fine dining presentation
- Comfortable giving and receiving criticism to achieve or improve service
- Comfortable working individually and in a team setting
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, late nights
- Ability to work in a high paced environment
- Comfortable using commercial grade equipment including gas range, stand mixers, ovens, dishwasher and more
- Maintain an organized and sanitary work environment
- Diligent and energetic
- Well rounded culinary skills
- Comfortable planning a weekly food prep schedule
- Ability to prepare meals for multiple events a week

Job Qualifications
-Culinary Arts Graduate
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Food Handling Certificate

Job Description
- Preparation of all food during the week for weddings including appetizers, freshly baked breads, salads, main courses, desserts and late-night snacks.
- Ability to follow recipes to maintain high quality taste and presentation expectations
- Comfortable working alongside our creative and hardworking head cook/owner.
- Confident with buffet, family-style and plated style services.
- Responsible for kitchen cleanliness, organization and time management.
- Full-time / seasonal position starting April and ending December 31st each year.

We have been so fortunate to work with the best people over the past few years. With a little bit of downtime this month (before we start preparing the venue and property for this upcoming wedding season) - we have been reminiscing about all the beautiful weddings we were a part of last year. So many incredible couples and a lifetime’s worth of beautiful memories. There was a lot of hard work that went into each wedding but every second was 110% worth it for the end result ✨

2021 definitely had its ups and downs. Anyone who had a wedding booked in 2021, or works in the wedding industry knows the challenges we all faced. Overall we feel so fortunate to have had the wedding season we did! We were blessed to be a part of so many beautiful moments. Thank you for letting us witness magnitudes of love, celebration and joy. Cheers to every couple that was married in 2021 🥂✨! To those getting married in 2022! - as originally planned or as a postponement. We honestly can’t wait for this upcoming wedding season! Even though the announcement this week was unsettling, we are very optimistic this upcoming season we will all be celebrating in style! Every year keeps getting better and better, and we promise we are here to help you navigate through restrictions, and of course, the regular and much more fun wedding planning that needs to be done! Couples getting married this year can expect an email from us in the next few months!!

We can’t believe 2023 is already fully booked and 2024 bookings are well underway! Thank you to all the couples who are getting married with us in future years. The team at The Meadows has some exciting new features coming soon!!!

Over the next couple months we will be working on our spring tasting schedule, updating our planning documents, and the usual off-season maintenance to make sure we are ready to deliver some magical weddings this upcoming season.
