there’s currently a global flower shortage.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

last year when the world shut down the floral industry struggled hard. now with the increased demand for flowers across the globe, growers are having a difficult time keeping up. add in that the pandemic still isn’t over and the logistics of moving flowers around the globe isn’t an easy feat.

because of this, i’ll be closing pre-orders a little earlier this year. if you’d like to send flowers to your mom, sister, friend or heck even yourself 😉, place your order soon (within the next couple of days!)

the gively flower story

i applied for a job in a grocery store flower department in high school thinking it would be a fun job. never did i imagine that it would change my life.

over the years i've honed my craft and my style. and i'm really proud to be a florist. funny how the dream always looks different then imagined, yet somehow it still looks good. i work out of my home studio, creating floral goodness in the stony plain and spruce grove area. i'm the girl that creates everything that heads out the door, always the head designer. what i love most about flowers is not the flowers themselves (although i do really really love them), but the power they have to bring such joy and healing to people. it’s nice to know that someone is thinking of you, and flowers compliment that perfectly. i love getting creative with the arrangements that i make and using that creativity to show love and i want to share that with my community whether that be for a wedding, event or an arrangement for someone you love. when i am not designing flowers, you can probably find me working on some type of diy project, having dance parties for one or watching all the sports with my husband. i’d take sunsets over sunrises any day and believe breakfast is good for any meal. flowers are my love language and i am so grateful to be able to create and design, i don’t take the opportunity to work with you lightly.
