Keep it simple this summer! ☀️ Here's a delicious slaw you can whip up in just 4 minutes. Perfect for those sizzling hot days!
What's your favourite summer salad?
Full recipe:
1/2-1 medium green cabbage, outer leaves removed
1 purple onion
10-15 baby carrots or 2 large carrots, peeled
2 summer peaches
1 cup fresh basil
1 cup of cilantro
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/2 cup of Compliments Coleslaw dressing
Compliments Pacific White Shrimp
Sesame seeds as needed
1/4 cup peanuts, crushed (as needed and optional)
Directions: thinly slice or shred your cabbage, carrots, onion, peppers and peaches. Place all ingredients in one large bowl. Add dressing and combine. Add more dressing if you desire a creamier taste. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Top with crushed peanuts, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with your choice of protein.
