A little bit about me: For the past 40 years, I’ve been living life as though painting on a wide, vibrant canvas—full of bold colors and limitless possibilities. Born in India, I made my way to Los Angeles in 1975, a city that became my perfect playground for growth and self-discovery. While others sought out movie stars, I was busy attending workshops with incredible spiritual teachers like Neale Donald Walsh, Caroline Myss, and Leo Buscaglia, among many others.
My journey has always been about blending learning with experience. Alongside earning my graduate degree in Counseling Psychology, I trained as a Past Life Therapist with Dr. Morris Netherton, whose profound sessions transformed my perspective on life.
35 years ago, I moved to Toronto, and through a series of serendipitous events, I created something close to my heart—a Multicultural Calendar featuring the dates of 12 major faiths paired with my own artwork. As an artist and advocate for connectedness, each year’s theme highlights what unites us as human beings. The calendar is shared widely with corporations, schools, and hospitals, spreading its message far and wide.
While the calendar business thrived seasonally, I also began organizing spiritual tours to India, Nepal, and Tibet. These weren’t your typical tours—they were immersive experiences for spiritual teachers to host their workshops along the way. Magical rituals and traditions added to the deep sense of connection these journeys offered. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with inspiring leaders like Joan Borysenko, Mira Kelley, John Perkins and Dr. Norman Shealy.
Always the entrepreneur, I also organized two transformational conferences in Toronto, drawing packed audiences at the Metro Convention Center. One explored the soul’s journey, while the other demystified the hysteria around 2012 with wisdom from Gregg Braden and Colin Andrews. These events were deeply fulfilling milestones for me.
A decade ago, I found my sanctuary: a beautiful, peaceful piece of land in Sunderland, Ontario. Here, I’m building a retreat focused on Sound and Light Healing, complete with yurt accommodations during the summer. Completely off-grid and nestled in nature, this retreat has become a space for me—and others—to host workshops and embrace healing in its purest form. It’s a place for people to reconnect with themselves and the world around them.
Through art, travel, healing, and community, I’ve dedicated my life to creating spaces where transformation happens. And the journey continues! Sheena Singh
