Planning an upcoming event? Working within a budget?

Here are some tips to stay within your desired budget:

✨ Seasonality ➔ Select flowers that are in season during the time of your event. Most flowers are based on season. Seasonal flowers give you more value for your money as the flowers are in plentiful supply in season.

✨ Adding or Substituting Silk or Dried Flowers ➔ I love to work with a mixture of flower types. Adding dried florals gives texture and depth while keeping your costs down. Silk or Dried flowers are very durable. As a result, you can achieve many looks that may not be possible with fresh blooms.

✨ Plan Ahead ➔ Book your florist in advance. We need ample time to prepare and order your florals. Prices fluctuate weekly. The closer we are to your event date, the higher the prices will be. Flowers also sell out very fast due to limited quantities from our local and international farmers. Therefore, to avoid overall disappointment, get in touch ASAP!

✨ Trust Your Florist ➔ You are paying your florist for their expertise, knowledge and skills. When working with a budget, I will always give recommendations that will help maintain your budget. I like to work with a colour scheme and add or subsitute different types of flowers accordingly. Remain flexible and trust the process!

I like to communicate a lot with my clients especially in regards to a budget. My first question will be “What is your budget?” Even if you have a vision in mind but are set on your budget, I can make it happen!
