Happy National Cookie 🍪 Day !
We couldn’t miss the opportunity to celebrate with some homemade sugar cookies at lunch today
We spent time with some of our favourite people from the Fresh Food Market York Region Food Network, our kitchen volunteers who created a delicious Mediterranean pasta bake, our friends from yrdsb_sdhs Community Class and 120 of you !

Last week, we kicked off our annual holiday campaign. Your support is becoming increasingly important. Contrary to what many believe, the government does not fund the food pantry. All of our funding is totally dependent on the generosity of our Georgina Community donors. Like all other charities across Canada, we have experienced a significant drop in donations since 2023.

We had a full house this week for our 🍅 soup🥣 and grilled cheese lunch 🥪 sponsored by our friends at York Regional Police prepared by our amazing volunteer team!
Special treats were Smile Cookies 🍪 in support of Community Living Georgina and they sure made us all smile 😊

Donate if you can

Help us spread warmth this winter by donating gently used coats and outerwear to those in need. Drop off your donations at Knox United Church (34 Market St, Georgina) on November 20th from 12-3pm and November 29th from 3-6pm.

We are truly blessed with some of the best volunteers! Today they made delicious Mac and cheese , fresh coleslaw and our famous cookies for 125 people.
