Back for a very limited time, the original soba noodle bowl (with the addition of marinated tofu for a bit more protein).

It’s only being offered for another few weeks since organic, locally made noodles are not being produced anymore and because I’ve decided to close the shop 😬

I’ve been cooking for my incredible clients these past 10+ years using only the best local and organic vegetables from the get go. I’ve found a community of fellow producers that I have really enjoyed working with and championing for. I’m confident that the local and organic trend has finally taken off! So I’m moving towards newness (not sure what yet) and not forgetting any of the challenges and accomplishments from the past.

I’d like to make a huge shout out to my friend and favorite helper for the many years she has helped me. Your willingness, positive attitude, skills, smarts and trustworthiness have been so valuable. Thank you, I appreciate you ❤️❤️❤️ and I’ll miss our days of singing and whistling while we prep!

The ultimate bitter green, radicchio mellows when cooked, but this week we enjoy its bitterness with a creamy blue cheese dressing (nuts and seeds on top) or with a pine nut / anchovy and caramelized onion dressing. One of my favorite fall vegetables!

What a season it’s been!! From May until now it’s been fantastic. I’ve spent countless hours walking, picking, cleaning, sautéing, dehydrating and ultimately eating too. I’ve seen a bear, a couple of porcupines and have spent a good amount of those hours with friends who like to pick too 😍

So here we are filo dough pizzas with la Pinte cream, caramelized onions, a touch of garlic and cognac, fresh chanterelles and tooth fairies 🧚
