Amber & Trent
Meet Amber & Trent. Crazy, Fun, Laidback, and just all around awesome couple. They were married on a freezing cold winters day in Cape Breton and they loved every second of it. We want to thank them both for being so awesome to work with. Shooting weddings in the winter can have its challenges for sure but couples like Amber and Trent make it a lot easier thats for sure.
Meet Amanda & Cole. They were recently married in Pictou County after having their wedding cancelled 48hrs before in Halifax due to a Covid outbreak. They had to pack everything up and move the entire event to their hometown and have it outdoors on their family property,,,,, in April,,,,, in Nova Scotia hahahahaha. April in NS is not the prime time to have an outdoor wedding but I have to say the day was absolutely beautiful.
With everything going on around us I have to say both families were absolutely fantastic to work with. We often get so caught up with making everything so perfect we forget that life itself isn't perfect. But with the right attitude it doesn't matter. Amanda had every reason to be on edge and upset, her year long wedding planning came crashing down 48hrs before her date. But she was actually just the opposite, she had a wonderful wedding planner who helped them get everything moved and she was just so grateful for everyone who helped. But thats it, weddings are about family and being surrounded by the ones you love the very most so everyone got together to make sure her day was as close to perfect as you could get. There was not one point in the day she wasn't smiling except for the speeches lol. We want to wish both Amanda & Cole nothing but the very best for the future and one of these days I'm going to see if Cole will take me Tuna Fishing lol. I will pack the Hotdogs bud.

Meg & Alex
Meg and Alex had the perfect day for a wedding over looking the Bras D'Or Lakes. These two gems were an absolute blast to work with. When Alex was younger he was in a very serious snowboarding accident that left him in rough shape. But only knowing Alex for a short period of time I could see how he was able to recover from his accident. He has an amazing support staff from friends, family and now his wife Meg. They are perfically matched and we would like to wish them both nothing but the best for the future.
Najala & George
Meet Najala & George. I don't know if I have ever met a family that are as hospitable as the Orrell family. From the time we walk into their homes (have been to a few now lol) they treat us like we are part of their family. Najala & George are so much like their families so it really makes our job so much easier. We really enjoy working with them and I believe we have one more coming up in the near future so stay tuned lol .

Our Vows
9 years ago today I was waiting for my wife to show up at the Church. Scared to death, nervous and seconds away from barfing Fireball she showed up and everything went away. The past 9 years have been the best years of my life and I owe it all to my beautiful wife. Thank you goes out to Lawrence Clarke and Johnny Furry Murray for recording our wedding for us.
We get to meet some great people and get to share some great laughs at weddings. This morning the groomsman were out playing Frisbee and some of the guys take it pretty serious. Here is a quick shot of the best man refusing to let the frisbee touch the ground. HAHAHAHHA
Nan & I
My Nan.... My grandmother just recently passed away and I have to say I am very thankful and feel very blessed to have known my Nan for 37 years. She was like a 2nd mother to me and for a lot of my life I actually lived with her and spent more time with her then anyone else. She has played a huge part in my life and has helped me in more ways then she would ever know. Grandmothers have their own set of rules. When you go to their house there are things you may get away with there that you wouldn't anywhere else. But they teach you a level of respect for yourself and for others that I believe nobody else can teach you. I have been extremely lucky to have my Nan in my life for as long as I did and I am very happy to see her finally rest in peace with my Grandfather and those who have passed away.
I was going through a few pictures and video clips that I have with my Nan and I came across my wedding video. When I got married I wanted to dance with my Nan because she was very important to me. She was a beauty and had a heart so filled with love it always made me smile when I was around her. RIP Nan I know you are happy and making others smile.
