I’m back!! The holiday season is always a busy one, and with 10 bouquets to construct and frame throughout November and December, I took a step back from social media to help prioritize my time. But, let’s get right back to it with ✨Wedding Wednesday✨

With all the excitement of your big day, it’s easy to forget one of the most important things—fueling your body! A wedding day is a marathon, not a sprint, so starting your morning with a protein-packed breakfast will give you the energy you need!
Charcuterie boards are a perfect go-to option! With a mix of meats, cheeses, nuts, and fresh fruit, they provide the perfect balance of protein and nutrients to keep you feeling your best. Plus, they’re easy to snack on while getting ready!

These photos beautifully capture the small, meaningful details that make your wedding day unique. From sentimental keepsakes to personal touches, they are items you’ll cherish forever 💗

To make things easier for your photographer, gather all the items you’d like featured in these shots and place them in a box. This way, nothing gets overlooked on your wedding day and everything is easily accessible!

What should you include? That’s up to you! Here are some suggestions:
- Perfume/cologne
- Wedding shoes
- Wedding invitation suite
- Bouquet, boutonnière, or request a few loose sprigs from your florist

First Dances!! 🎶

One of the most beautiful moments at any wedding is the first dance, and Nicole and Mitch had me tearing up as they danced under the lights. 🥲 There’s something so special about watching two people share that moment together.

Here are a few tips to help make your first dance as magical as it can be:

♥️Relax! Lower your shoulders, take a deep breath, and let go of any pressure. Focus on each other, not the steps.

♥️Practice! While you don’t need a choreographed routine (although they are amazing), a few run-throughs can help keep things light and fun. It’s all about connection, not perfection!

♥️Song choice! Choose a song that speaks to both of you. Find something meaningful that captures your journey together!

The Gubbins 🩵 June 15, 2024

Tamara and Ben’s wedding day was met with some truly wild weather—intense wind, hail, and a full downpour! Despite the unexpected challenges, I will always admire how this couple embraced every moment with grace. Their smiles never faded, and they stayed completely unfazed by the elements. They laughed, took it all in stride, and had the best day!

With that being said, it gives you a true sense of their personalities. and Ben are some of the kindest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have played a small part in their special day. 🩵

What is the difference between a Wedding Planner and a Day of Coordinator?!

💕A Wedding planner is a professional who works with a couple from the beginning of their engagement to plan and design their entire wedding! Their role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including budgeting, venue selection, vendor coordination, theme/decor planning, and managing logistics. They ensure that every detail is meticulously planned and executed, providing support and guidance throughout the entire process! Their goal is to bring the couple’s vision to life while alleviating the stress and burden of planning a wedding.

💕A Day-of coordinator focuses specifically on managing the wedding day itself! Their services typically begin a few weeks before the wedding where they review the couple’s plans, finalize the timeline, and confirm arrangements with vendors. On the wedding day, the coordinator ensures everything runs smoothly; overseeing and assisting with setup/takedown, managing the timeline, guest assistance, directing the ceremony, running errands and addressing any last-minute things that arise! Their goal is to allow the couple and their families to relax and be present on the wedding day, without worrying about any tasks or logistics.

So keep the dance floor going all night long with glow sticks, funny hats, blow up guitars, sunglasses… anything! These accessories not only amp up the energy but also provide a fun distraction, letting guests let loose regardless of their dance skills! 💃
