The Shed in Clarksburg
Update: We have decided to end the rental of the Shed to local artisans, small business operators, and to local community members to celebrate events as the town requires additional washrooms that would be financially prohibitive. Currently the Town of Blue Mountains have said no more than nine people can be in the building when using it as an event space.
The Shed was originally designed to be a community hub where space could be rented at a low fee to support local entrepreneurs and small businesses, additionally, we had hoped to generate enough income through larger events like markets, movie nights, small concerts, and larger business displays and events to offset the operating costs. Although never intended to make money we are not in a position to lose money and had hoped to break even by the end of year two.
Under the very capable leadership of our General Manager Kerrie Muschalla we have been very successful in the first year of operation so it is with real regret that we have to close down. Kerrie is a tremendous asset to our community, and we will continue to support her in all her future endeavors. In fact, we are one of her first clients as she begins to offer marketing and event planning services.
Additionally, the Town of Blue Mountains required us to remove our shipping
container and thus the seasonal e-bike rental business will be closed as well.
Eldano Properties remains committed to the Clarksburg community going forward and we remain optimistic that the political and administrative leadership will become more progressive, over time, and that we can continue to support the expansion and diversification of businesses in the town.

Lot's happening at this event - featuring an ARTISAN MARKET, a SILENT AUCTION and several ARTS AND CRAFTS WORKSHOPS.
The Artisan Market has two locations - The Marsh Street Centre and The Shed and the hours are 1pm-5pm.
The Silent Auction will be held at The Marsh Street Centre, starts at 1pm and closes at 4:30pm.
The Arts and Crafts Workshops will be located at several locations across Clarksburg Village including The Marsh Gallery, The Marsh Street Centre, ArtBank Collective, The Shed, and The Market on Marsh...plus more to be announced soon.
