“Time travel” ( The Guggenheim Museum continues to mesmerize me and I’m constantly drawn to the images I created some time ago in New York City . A Frank Lloyd Wright masterpiece . The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, often referred to as The Guggenheim, is an art museum at 1071 Fifth Avenue between 88th and 89th Streets on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City.

During a recent trip to Alaska, USA, I had the opportunity to visit the Saxman Totem Park on a day excursion. While there, I spotted a distinguished gentleman through the window of the carving center. Intrigued, I began taking photos from a distance as he worked meticulously on a totem pole. Gaining a bit of courage, I approached closer, and he noticed me, striking a pose that allowed me to continue photographing him comfortably.
Later, while dining on the ship, I discovered that one of our neighbors was from Ketchikan, Alaska. As we chatted about our day and I showed a portrait from my phone, I was thrilled to learn that the gentleman I had photographed was Nathan Jackson, a renowned Alaskan artist. Mr. Jackson has been practicing art for nearly sixty years, is a prolific creator with over 50 totem poles, and has received numerous commissions.
I’m eager to share the photos I took with Mr. Jackson. If anyone has contact information for him, please send me a direct message.
