Subscriptions started today. While I’m still waiting for some of the main flowers to bloom, this bouquet turned out pretty cute! 🌸
One of those “the more you cut the more they produce” bouquets. While this isn’t necessarily my favourite arrangement, I just can’t bring myself to throw the blooms away 🙈 so this will be headed to our local seniors home 💛
Seed starting can take up a lot of time and space! Although it’s the cheaper alternative, some people just can’t commit to growing flowers from seed and that’s okay!
I love seed starting and start almost all of my own flowers, the best thing I ever did was purchase my snapdragons as plugs. They save so much space and time! There are roughly 200 snapdragons here (🤯) and I didn’t have to start a single one of them. One thing to consider is the price. Snapdragons are relatively cheap to purchase as plugs, which is why I chose to make this investment, however, some plants can be a bit more costly. Therefore, you really want to weigh your pros and cons when you’re purchasing. Another thing to consider is the amount you’re getting with each plug tray. Lots of places sell plugs in 240 count trays. That’s a lot of plugs. However, if you know of some cut flower gardeners like me, or friends that may want to purchase with you then you can split the cost and amount. Win win!
