The Walnut Foundation nonprofit organization dedicated to improving Black men's health, with a particular focus on prostate cancer awareness and support. Founded in 2007 by Dr. Winston Isaac following his own prostate cancer diagnosis, the foundation was established to address the critical need for education, early detection, and culturally sensitive support within the Black community.



Through monthly support groups, mobile PSA testing clinics, and annual events like the Walk the Path Walkathon and Men's Health Conference, The Walnut Foundation fosters open dialogue and provides vital resources to empower men and their families. The organization also invests in the future by offering scholarships to Black medical students and collaborating on genetic research to better understand prostate cancer risks among Black men.
