This week has been a dream. Having designed and created this gown for the opportunity to work with a team of truly incredible industry creatives was such a blessing in itself, that having then been chosen to be on the cover of , is truly indescribable.

Achieving this in my first year as a designer, feels surreal. I am so grateful. The creation of this bespoke gown could not have been more of a collaborative effort, and sharing in this with such a talented team of pattern makers, and seamstresses makes me that much more thankful for this moment.

Team work truly does make the dream work🤍

Now that the summer of 2023 is officially in the books, getting to look back and see all of the beautiful gowns that we created for even more beautiful brides, makes me so emotional🤍 Being responsible for the most important garment of clothing, that a bride will ever wear in her life comes with responsibility, of course, but also such an appreciation for the trust that every bride puts into me and the team at Valencienne. Feeling the nostalgia as my first summer has come to a close. I am so grateful for every moment.🥂

This dress is what bespoke bridal is all about. Custom designed beading, hand beaded, placed directly on the bride, sewn by hand, and made with love🤍 This dress will forever be one of my favourites - the backstory, the lack of tolerance for anything but absolute excellence shown by the team, it was truly a collaborative effort to have this dress perfectly come together for a day that looked like something out of a fairytale, and a bride that could not be more in love and excited to marry her groom 🤍 Cheers to you, darling 🥂

Even bustled this 5 foot train is still a wonder to behold. And being the perfectionists we are, we matched the tulle to Teresa’s skin tone to give her the low back illusion she imagined ✨

Opulence personified describes this one of a kind extravaganza. This gown was an incredible journey from start to finish, and was more stunning than our bride Teresa could’ve imagined. Her vision was a larger than life princess ballgown. With a bodice that was truly couture we used layers upon layers of different elements, from 3D flowers, crystals, large oversized pearls and multiple laces. Every piece of lace on this dress was hand cut and appliquéd, a labour of love that took two months to complete. The finishing touch was hand stitched, deconstructed jewelry used to elevate the bodice. Teresa wanted the gown to be couture in the true sense of the word and to feel as though she were walking through a garden of flowers. We believe we surpassed this brides expectations and delivered a gown that exemplified Valencienne’s workmanship, hand finishing, attention to detail, innovation and creativity. 💕

Mirella was the embodiment of elegant glamour on her beautiful summer wedding day! This incredible gown was made with 12 meters of silk dupioni, 12 meters of Chantilly lace and 12 meters of hand-sewn beaded lace and featured a couture crinoline to transform her into a true princess. When she came to Valencienne she always brought her positive energy with such a joie de vivre ✨

Meet the extraordinary Emma Guzzetti, who represents the second generation of the Valencienne – Guzzetti wedding dress collaborations. Her dear aunt, Zia Emma, beckoned our doorstep just over 36 years ago!

Since that time The Guzzetti family have, with grace and devotion, supported Valencienne throughout the years by allowing us to be a part of their special celebrations, and of course most prominently, Weddings. As we have flourished in our various bespoke locations, first on Bloor Street, then Cumberland St, followed by Eglinton Ave and most recently our Tycos Dr boutique, the Guzzetti family have been loyal patron’s.

When Zia Emma’s niece, Emma, arrived this spring we were thrilled to have the opportunity to create a one of a kind gown that would magnificently capture this brides personal style, effervescent personality, and joie de vivre. As we do with every Valencienne custom creation, we pour our heart and soul into every stitch .

Words cannot begin to express how deeply I appreciate and value your trust in me and my craft. It has always meant the world to me. From the bottom of my heart, with love and eternal gratitude, I say thank you for all of the special times, the delightful memories and most importantly, for the caring and kindness you have shown to me and to my Valencienne team. We look forward to the next chapter of our beautiful friendship.

We are so proud of our friend Anthony who recently showed his fantastic project a few week ago at the Victoria Albert museum in London, England. Anthony has worked tirelessly on this special project , he travelled around the world and poured his heart and soul into this body inclusive exhibition. Sharing the limelight with Andy Warhol, Gucci, renaissance paintings by Botticelli. What remarkable company - Anthony’s blood sweat and tears are now paying off.

We have known Anthony for over 20 years and he has captured some of our most creative bridal/ fashion shoots for Valencienne.

We have always known that he was extraordinarily talented we are so happy to see his work recognized on such a global scale. This success is well deserved and we can’t wait to see how much further he’ll go with his phenomenal creativity and this very important project . He has always had a big heart and selflessly gives of his time and talent. Valencienne is eternally grateful for his passion and commitment to his craft and love of photography.

Today is national puppy day and there is nothing like the love of a family pet. We’re in the business of love and dogs love you completely and unconditionally. Scout was the true star of this creative ❤️

Simple & Elegant 🤍 This mikado, column dress, embellished with pearls is finally making her debut ✨ The straps ensure comfort and security, while the scoop neckline is mimicked in the back of the dress for cohesion of silhouette. The front slit ensures maximum ability to move, and for added drama (though not pictured here) she even comes with a dramatic, removable overskirt. #ss2023collection #ValencienneSS2023
