Thanks to the West Rouge community for coming to the annual Cherry Bomb holiday shopping night last night!!! A great way to kick off the holiday season and some early holiday shopping... all ticket sales totalling $300 have been donated to the Scarborough Food Security Initiative. I love my job but like any job it has its tough days. Eighteen hour marathon days of processing flowers standing in one spot for hours, lifting heavy buckets of flowers in and out of fridges, loading the trailer with heavy boxes of holiday greens etc... but I also get to do creative work with beautiful flowers and interact with amazing people every day - that's the stuff that makes it all worth it!
