Should you have one? By definition, a micro wedding is an intimate affair, typically with no more than 50 guests. They still feature time-honored traditions but on a much smaller scale.
Micro weddings also allows for a more personal, customized and intimate experience with your nearest and dearest. No need to sacrifice all the trimmings that you may not be able to include in your wedding budget due to having to accommodate a larger guest list.

Should you have one? Pop Up Weddings can mean a couple different things.
Most often Pop Up Weddings are VERY similar to micro weddings, however they are planned and take place within a very short period of time. We’re talking less than 2-3 months! These are not for the indecisive couples as you have a very short time frame to decide on all details.
The other type of Pop Up Wedding is a planned event with multiple weddings taking place at different times on the same day. Designed to be even easier than picking a show for your next binge-fest on Netflix. The venue, the backdrop, the officiant, the photographer, and every other vendor are all prearranged and designed so that all you have to do is book a time slot, decide on what you’re wearing, invite your guests and show up. They’re fast, 100% stress-free, and pretty budget friendly.

Should you have one? You might be asking this question if you can’t see yourselves having a traditional wedding. Or maybe you’re starting to second guess planning a big celebration because you’re feeling overwhelmed by expectations and obligations. Maybe you feel like current events (like a global pandemic) are conspiring against your wedding plans and you JUST WANT TO BE MARRIED ALREADY. Because you can always elope now and party later.

Traditionally an Elopement is just the two of you. However, eloping no longer means “running off to get married in secret” in order to avoid those family expectations or obligations. The modern version is a lot less dramatic but no less romantic. There are no set rules. You can do whatever you want including having your family and some friends at your ceremony if that’s what is important to you. The focus here remains on marrying the love of your life and is 100% about the two of you as a couple, rather than planning a wedding with hundreds of your guests in mind. Whether it’s at City Hall, on a beach, hilltop or the Sahara Desert, it can be anywhere and everything you dream of.
