Est. 2019 with our first party held Valentine's Day 2020, SLOW FIZZ Northern Soul Club Toronto fast becqme a hidden gem Rare & Northern Soul Vinyl Dance Party! Founded by Cher, vinyl collector of many genres for 25+ years and Northern Soul DJ spinning original vinyl. She became disillusioned by the same pop/classic soul tunes and realized that great B-sides to old releases weren't receiving a prop

er airing and deserved their time to shine on Toronto dance floors and knew club goers would fall in love with them if given a chance. SLOW FIZZ quickly gained the attention and following of expat soulies longing to hear the tunes they grew up dancing to at UK all-nighters and new keen soulies alike looking for a refreshing soul party. It wasn't long after that SLOW FIZZ solidified and distinguished ourselves as a Northern Soul Club. SLOW FIZZ hosts brilliant DJ friends from home and around the globe spinning Rare & Northern Soul, Latin Soul, Deep Funk, Crossover, Modern & Neo Soul! Find us at our monthly residency 3RD Saturdays at Swan Dive and frequent pop ups at Handlebar! We've hosted and guested numerous livestreams from week one of the pandemic. 'Slow Fizz Sunday Sessions' weekly livestreams spotlighted talented vinyl soul DJs from around the globe and SLOW FIZZ All-Dayer was the first all womxn DJ livestreamed soul all-dayer going over 9 hours and featuring 12 DJs from around the globe. My biggest goal with SLOW FIZZ is to promote inclusivity among vinyl DJs new and old and let the love of the music take center stage so dancers and party goers can have the ultimate positive party experience. SLOW FIZZ, like every other vinyl dance party, is on hiatus at the moment but that doesn’t mean we can’t bend the rules to fit our situation..

One of Hamilton’s best live music/entertainment venues, The Casbah is a vital part of its growing culture, art and entertainment scene. Hamilton’s live music venues have fast become one of the major draws of the city’s nightlife. They have given the city so much and in this time of uncertainty this is our chance to give back.
