Gillette Venus x The Salt Water Collective 🌴 Some of the beautiful details captured by .ca from the launch event of the new swimwear line between the two brands last week. It was such a fun and vibrant event!
Last week we helped Gillette Venus and The Salt Water Collective launch a swimwear line with a Miami-inspired PR event. The event incorporated the campaign's tagline "Any body is a beach body", celebrating all body types/shapes and encouraging women to feel comfortable in their skin while wearing swimwear.
We built a beach boutique for guests to shop for a bikini, with custom built change rooms. Our dry pool gave summer vibes and doubled as a place to sit. Blue palm trees, beach cabanas and deconstructed water backdrop set the Miami mood and made for cute photo opps.
Every guest got to try on the new swimwear line and take one home, alongside the full Gillette Venus line of product. Our models (first photo) also looked fab sporting the new line! We had a blast putting this together from start to finish.

Wow. An end of an era. In case you haven't heard, is saying goodbye after 40 years on air. How crazy! It's been a privilege and honour to have been a part of the Cityline family!
I will be forever grateful that Cityline was one of my first big breaks on TV. The producers took a chance on me, a local wedding planner, for their annual wedding special. I joined the likes of veterans and for my first segment. Thank you Leigh-Ann for recommending me! Crazy to think that was in 2016. 8 years ago!!
It's been very special to have filmed so many incredible segments since. They've all been full of energy and laughter alongside , even when we had to film offsite during the pandemic!
What an incredible run. It's not goodbye, it's see you later. Can't wait to see what's next!! ❤️

Even seemingly simple panel speaker events can look sophisticated and cohesive. We designed a special event for Always Discreet last week, an evening to facilitate important conversations around menopause hosted by .
The design centered around an understated purple colour palette with modern floral details, set against the backdrop of the very posh ballroom. We especially loved the wrapped lavender stage, microphone decals and the matching cocktail hour decor. With almost 250 guests in attendance, it was a huge hit!

Hi friends! I'm jumping on here to share a project I've been working on lately. Swipe for a preview and read on for details!
Coming from my graphic design background, I have always been one to love colour, textures and bold prints. At our house, I have a purple couch in a mauve living room and I've painted every surface and piece of furniture I could get my hands on. Pink is my neutral colour and leopard print is my black tshirt.
I've brought this love for colour and prints into a new passion project called , a home decor line that I'd describe as modern maximalist. I've created placemats, napkins, pillowcases and other decor pieces with whimsical patterns that will bring joy to your home.
The designs have been carefully curated and each one is a labour of love. They are perfect gifts for homeowners and an amazing gift to yourself to brighten up a space.
Pre-orders will be taken now until April 30 with 10% off. Shipping for the first batch will aim for end of May. When the cooler weather approaches, I have a beautiful moody fall/winter collection launching.

Happy Nowruz for all who celebrate! We helped Hillcrest celebrate in style with a beautiful spring-inspired flower wall and floor vinyl design created in the style of a monochromatic rug. We enjoyed designing this and loved the haft-sin table Hillcrest put together!
Ready, Set, Prom 🪩⚡🎈 From the multi-layer fringe, to the floral balloon marquee letters, to the aura-inspired floor vinyl, we loved designing this vibrant and fun prom pop up at Upper Canada Mall!

In a world where you can be anything, be kind ♥ This special mall activation at Oshawa Centre was in conjunction with pink shirt day, an anti-bullying campaign around kindness. We created beautiful floral-inspired photo opps and custom door frames with kindness quotes that served as the backdrop for fun activities that happened on the weekends. A modern and flowy floor and wall graphic with pastel tones was the backdrop to the flowers. This vibrant and whimsical activation was one for the books!

Many people comment about how busy I must be, since there are multiple events/projects happening on the same day sometimes. The secret is, I'm not everywhere! I have an amazing team of planners who I rely on to take care of installations and event day chaos, so I can focus on the creative work, admin and client relations.
Every event planner starts out being the doer of all things. They don't trust that someone can do it properly, so they do it themselves. They have a hard time giving up control and are also type A personalities (you know who you are!). But there comes a point where you must delegate and teach others to do your job, so that you can grow and expand the business. It's taken a long time to build this team and to learn to delegate properly. It didn't happen overnight. Each of these girls joined as an assistant or intern, and have been trusted with more as we worked together more. Now each of them are a vital part of the team and we couldn't do the work we do without them! We also have an amazing team of assistants who work with us throughout the year.
Over the last couple of years we have been building our corporate event design arm and we have been loving the creativity and projects coming our way. On the wedding side, we have opened our books for select dates available for wedding day of coordinations this summer, so inquire on our website if interested.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello to old and new friends, and give some love to our team of amazing planners. Have a great rest of the week 💜

We designed this modern and clean trade show booth for our clients exhibiting at the International Beauty Show in NYC. Clean lines, pastel pinks and acrylic details came together for a fresh and modern take on the beauty trade show booth.
I love to surprise and delight guests when throwing a party. Give guests a reason to say "wow!" around every turn and change up the energy throughout the night so it never stays stagnant. We've styled the entrance of Shangri-La Hotel Toronto with a special Lunar New Year display that includes our beautiful dragon, auspicious flowers and fans, and a custom made structure to hang lanterns. We love how this turned out! Snap a photo with it now until the end of February.

Last year, we had the opportunity to create seasonal floral feature walls inside Market & Co at Upper Canada Mall. It was an underutilized seating area where families and guests enjoyed a coffee.
We anchored and gave the space life with floral installations that changed with the season, something guests could look forward to. Right now, our rustic winter wall is up until early March. It's one of our favourite feature walls we have created so far in the space. Check it out while it's up!

This activation can be found at Upper Canada Mall until Feb 7, while Hillcrest Mall's activation will be up until Feb 11.
