Legendary singer-songwriter Sade is set to return to music with a brand new song - ‘Young Lion’ - dedicated to her Trans son 🤍

The track will appear on ‘Transa’, a compilation album supporting Trans+ awareness that is slated for a 22 November release.

“Trans people have always existed, with many different names across time and culture, often as spiritual healers and leaders,” said a message on Sade’s social media.

“As global systems continue to fail humanity and all life on Earth, the journey taken by trans people – and all peoples who have been oppressed – is a blueprint of possibility. May this be a glimpse of our collective liberation, and the light inside all of us.”

Other artists contributing to ‘Transa’ include Sam Smith, André 3000 and Jeff Tweedy.
