It’s that time again! We’re recruiting for CSI’s Community Animator Program (CAP) for spring/summer 2025.

This program has been at the heart of the CSI community for over a decade. As a Community Animator, you'll contribute one 7-hour shift per week in exchange for unlimited access to our coworking spaces, plus all the fantastic benefits of CSI membership: professional growth, skill building, and a vibrant community committed to people and planet (oh, and a whole lotta fun).

Whether you're an entrepreneur, newcomer, freelancer, introvert, extrovert, student, retiree, or any type of changemaker, the Community Animator Program offers something for everyone!

Last month, the laneway of CSI Spadina was filled with youth working on a ground mural as part of “Street Mural Day of Action: Community Visions for a Youth Climate Corps”. And it wasn’t just here – all across the country, murals were organized by CSI Member Climate Emergency Unit (CEU), with support from fellow CSI Member Small Change Fund, to help demonstrate the power and vision of a Youth Climate Corps to Members of Parliament.

Each year on September 30, we mark Orange Shirt Day, an Indigenous-led grassroots initiative. We also mark Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to reflect, remember, and honour the survivors and victims of Canada’s residential school system.
