Great advice! @orukaevents 🍽
Food tastings are a fun and yummy part of wedding planning😋🤤
Here are 4 thing you don’t want to forget when you go to one
🍽 Don’t a forget why you are there! Although it’s a lot of fun make sure you stay focused so your venuband caterer know what you want
🍽 Don’t forget your guests. They are going to be the ones also eating the food you want to do your best to give them the flavours they would love. Based on the options available.
🍽 Don’t forget the season. Some food have cooling effect and some warm consider this when making your food choices
🍽 Don’t forget to have other options. This is for guests that may have dietary preferences or restrictions. They should be alternatives for them.

Posted @withregram • @radoccasions We get asked for day of coordination all 👏🏽the 👏🏽 time and by definition it LITERALLY doesn’t make sense to call it day of coordination. Essentially, a day of coordinator is like a unicorn - it doesn’t exist and here’s why!
✔️depending on your contract, we are there to answer simple questions you may have along the way. Yes that’s right even a year out!
✔️ we meet with you at least two times in advance and work with you and your vendors to confirm timeline and decor details. We aren’t mind readers and neither are you so these conversations are essential.
✔️ we coordinate your rehearsal alongside the person marrying you so any kinks can be worked out and so everyone knows what to do, where to stand, etc.
✔️besides being there on the day to setup, coordinate, and take down we sometimes come back the next day to assist with load out (again - dependent on your contract)
So, still want to tell me a day of coordinator is what you’re looking for? 🙂

A mood board is a way to convey the look and feel that you are hoping to create for your event through your wedding design.
It’s a way to communicate your vision and bring the concept to life.
Here are some tips for creating your next mood board:
1️⃣ Brainstorm & establish a theme
2️⃣ Focus on the overall look, feel & vibe
3️⃣ Add unique & creative ideas (smell, taste, touch & focal features)
4️⃣ Narrow down the images (15-20)
5️⃣ Share the concept with your team
*Your mood board should include a photo of the venue, floral inspiration, special elements being used, and the colour palette.
