Rabinirjhar School of Music Rabinirjhar is an exclusive music school in Toronto for imparting lessons on Rabindra Sangeet (songs composed by Rabindranath Tagore).

It encourages students to render correct tunes and follow the pure gharana of Shailajaranjan Majumdar. ‘রবিনির্ঝর’ একটি রবীন্দ্রসঙ্গীত শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান, যার মূল উদ্দেশ্য হল বিশ্বকবি রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর রচিত সঙ্গীতকে লালন ও প্রচার করা। গ্রেটার টরন্টো এরিয়ার ছোট বড় সব বয়সের ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের মধ্যে রবীন্দ্রসঙ্গীতের শুদ্ধ গায়কী প্রসার করতে 'রবিনির্ঝর' সর্বদা আগ্রহী। এখানে শান্তিনিকেতন বিশ্বভারতী অনুমোদি

ত স্বরলিপি অনুযায়ী রবীন্দ্রসঙ্গীতের সঠিক সুর, তাল ও শুদ্ধ বাংলা উচ্চারণ শিক্ষার পাশাপাশি ছাত্রছাত্রীদের মধ্যে রবীন্দ্রভাবনা এবং দর্শন সম্বন্ধে আগ্রহ তৈরী করা হয় যা তাদের রবীন্দ্র সংগীতের সঠিক অর্থ অনুধাবন করতে সাহায্য করে। এছাড়া শিক্ষার্থীরা গানের ভাব ও অর্থ অনুযায়ী সঠিক পদ্ধতির গায়ন ভঙ্গীটিও বুঝে নিতে পারেন, যাতে তারা গাইবার সময় সঙ্গীতের রসটি সম্পূর্ণ ভাবে শ্রোতাদের কাছে তুলে ধরতে পারেন।
২০০৮ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত 'রবিনির্ঝর' চেষ্টা করে নিয়মিত ঘরোয়া এবং মূল মঞ্চে অনুষ্ঠান করে শিক্ষার্থী দের দর্শক/ শ্রোতাদের সামনে তুলে ধরতে। এছাড়া গ্রেটার টরন্টো অঞ্চলের বিশিষ্ট শিল্পীদেরও আমন্ত্রণ জানিয়ে নিয়মিত সুস্থ, সুন্দর ও সমৃদ্ধ অনুষ্ঠান উপহার দেয় এই সংস্থা।
সংস্থার কর্ণধার সুনীল ও নন্দিতা গোমস দুজনেই কলকাতার সর্বপ্রথম রবীন্দ্রসঙ্গীত শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান গীতবিতান থেকে গীতভারতী উপাধি প্রাপ্ত ও শ্রীশৈলজারঞ্জন মজুমদারের সুযোগ্য শিষ্য শ্রী আশিস ভট্টাচার্যর কাছে দীর্ঘদিন ধরে বিশেষ তালিম প্রাপ্ত। স্বয়ং রবীন্দ্রনাথ নিযুক্ত শান্তিনিকেতন সঙ্গীত ভবনের প্রথম অধ্যক্ষ শ্রী শৈলজারঞ্জন মজুমদার এর ঘরানার শুদ্ধ প্রসার ও প্রচার ই এদের মূল লক্ষ্য।

Rabinirjhar School of Music is an exclusive music school for imparting Rabindra Sangeet. The goal of this organisation is to nurture and spread the songs of the Nobel laureate poet Sree Rabindranath Tagore. It further aims to teach the pure 'gayakee' (singing style) of Rabindra Sangeet to young and adult students of the Greater Toronto Area. The students are encouraged to understand the philosophy/ thought behind the songs, proper pronunciation of the words, learn the correct 'taal' (beats) and render the notes by following correct notations as envisaged by Tagore and recommended by Visva Bharati, Santiniketan. The students also learn to make a correct delivery of songs by understanding the mood/meaning of the song and train up their voices with a basic knowledge of Indian classical music. The founders and teachers Sunil and Nandita Gomes are graduates of Geetabitan Shikshayatan, the premium music school of Kolkata, and direct students of Rabindra Sangeet maestro Sree Ashish Bhattacharjee. Sunil and Nandita are the followers of the ‘gharana’ of Acharya Shailajaranjan Majumdar, who was the direct disciple of Tagore and was appointed by him as the principal of Sangeet Bhavan, Santiniketan. Rabinirjhar was founded in Toronto, in the year 2008. Within a short span of time it has attracted the attention of the music lovers for rendering a pure 'gharana' of Rabindra Sangeet. Today, the students of Rabinirjhar perform regularly at all local/ community concerts, and win acclaims from the audience.

শান্তিনিকতন থেকে সন্দীপ সেন আসছেন গান শোনাতে। ছোট থেকে আশ্রমেই বড় হয়ে ওঠা সন্দীপ গান শিখেছেন কণিকা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়, নীলিমা সেন, শান্তিদেব ঘোষের কাছে।
বর্তমানে তিনি বিশ্বভারতীর অধ্যাপক। রবীন্দ্রসঙ্গীত তাঁর অস্তিত্বে।
যাঁরা টরন্টোর পূর্ব দিকে থাকেন তাঁরা আগামী ১২ই জুলাই, শুক্রবার, সন্ধে সাতটায় টরন্টো দুর্গাবাড়ী আসতে পারেন সন্দীপের গান শুনতে।
আর যাঁরা পশ্চিমের মানুষ তাঁরা আসতে পারেন ১৪ই জুলাই, রবিবার, নর্থউড কমিউনিটি সেন্টারে সন্ধে ৬ টায়। দুদিনের ই প্রবেশমূল্য ২০ ডলার।

গত ৭ই অক্টোবর রবিনির্ঝরের প্রযোজনায় অনুষ্ঠিত হয় "তোমার পরশ আসে"। দ্বিতীয়ার্ধে অতিথি শিল্পী ছিলেন শ্রী পার্থসারথী শিকদার। শ্রী শিকদার ছাড়াও দ্বিতীয়ার্ধে একক সঙ্গীত পরিবেশন করেন শ্রী সুনীল গোমস্ ও শ্রীমতী নন্দিতা গোমস্। সঙ্গতে ছিলেন শ্রী অরূপ মুখার্জী, শ্রী সৌম্য বসু, শ্রীমতী ফারজ়ানা হক, এবং শ্রী সুনীল গোমস্।
