Choosing the right head table design for your wedding can influence the atmosphere of your reception. When deciding between a sweetheart table for two or sitting with your closest friends, it ultimately comes down to your personal preferences and the vibe you want on your special day.

A sweetheart table allows for intimate moments and gives you both space to enjoy each other’s company. We know wedding days can be busy so sitting together just you two allows for you to stay close and connect throughout reception as well. It’s also an amazing feeling to look out at all your guests who’ve come to celebrate your love.

Sharing a head table with your closest friends allows you to celebrate your special day surrounded by the people who mean the most to you. It creates a sense of togetherness. There will be lots of conversations and lots of laughter which will in turn be an imprinted memory after the wedding. This can also be set up as a Kings Table or simply seated at guest tables without a head table (and all the attention it comes with) depending on your floorplan layout.

Ultimately the most important thing is to create a setting that feels most authentic to you as a couple.

There are so many different ways that you can display your seating chart and signages. These days we’re seeing everything large scale, I’m talking big displays, 6 feet tall, favours as fun es**rt cards. They are so fun and can help create that wow factor and experience for your guests. On the other hand, you may see signs scaling down again, displayed on an easel. I recommend doing what you like best and your stationery designer will help bring your vision to life.

This was a custom fabric seating chart and welcome sign for Mel & Julian printed on linen that was perfect for their day.

When you can’t decide, get BOTH! I could not decide which wedding dress I wanted so I ended up having 2 - Yes, TWO! Most brides have a formal wedding dress and a reception dancing dress but I literally had 2 full out wedding dresses and felt like a princess. For the ceremony I wore a more simplistic and classic dress and then switched to an off-the-shoulder lace and tulle dress in the evening but I knew I wanted photos in both (before the sun went down) so we were able to get portraits before the ceremony started and did 2 first looks aka dress reveals. Til this day I still adore both so favourites are hard to choose ❤️
