flower friends!! so much time has passed and i've missed connecting with you all. i've been taking it easy, spending the past year going through all the baby stages.
last year was the slowest year for rce with only 3 events. old me would've been embarrassed to admit that but baby boy was born in april and i savoured every minute of my time at home with him. summer time off for a florist - what a gift!! it may have been our slowest flower year but it was my proudest year for sure - somehow when i was 7 weeks postpartum we managed to pull off the most beautiful wedding for f & r and then took on another event in june and december.
we have our first event of the year coming up this sunday and i am so giddy with excitement. it feels so good to be back - creating and getting back into my element. as always, i'll be taking you along for the ride so make sure to follow along.

baby boy made his debut early morning on april 3rd and life has never been sweeter. savouring every moment with our boy and adjusting well to our new life as a family of four✨🤍

i hope you all had a wonderful christmas/holiday season.
somehow i blinked and it's the last day of 2022! where has the time gone? sharing my top nine posts of the year as voted by all of you.
2022 was the best year rce has seen and i am so thankful. thank you to all my clients for trusting me with the most important days of your lives. thank you to all of you who follow along with my flower business journey and support in any way with a like, follow, comment - i see it all and cherish the support.
there are so many exciting things to come for 2023 and i am so eager to ring in the new year.
wishing you all much happiness, success and good health in 2023. praying that this year will be the year of great favour!

finally coming up for a bit of air after wedding season officially ended for us two weekends ago. there is so much in the works for 2023 and i am so excited to share it with all of you soon. it's definitely not how i thought the season would look but it's even better than i could've ever imagined🤍

friends!!! it's been a while since we've last connected. so much has happened since we last spoke.
started winding down our busy season and will officially finish off wedding season next weekend with a double header wedding weekend.
finally got to take some much needed down time in sept with some family trips in the sun.
i've missed connecting with you all but with all the busyness and life changes going on lately it was important to take some down time. coming back refreshed ready to close out the 2022 season!
so excited for all 2023 has in store🤍

it's design day for s & e's wedding tomorrow. i think this is the biggest personal flower order i've ever done lol - 13 bouquets, 11 bouts & 3 corsages. our last wedding before a mini road trip next week! yay!!

sunday's bb for sofija.
this past weekend's wedding was such a pretty one for s & a - can't wait to show you some bts. haven't shared much yet as i was trying to enjoy some family time yesterday after tear down. today i'm spending the day with mr and charlie trying to enjoy one full day of r & r. back to all the work things tomorrow!

freelancing for some flower friends today and tomorrow and then to my glorious surprise...i'm off this weekend!
by 'off' i mean i'll be spending all day saturday washing buckets, cleaning vases, resetting the studio...you know all the non glamourous things i try to put off for as long as i can. but hey, at least sunday i'll be by the pool😊

this ceremony aisle for sharn & ben was just the most beautiful tropical dream. walking through it with the water front view, sun shining down and beautiful breeze - i felt like i was relaxing on a tropical island somewhere…if only lol! this one was one for the books 🌴🌿☀️🌊

Ruth Chin Events is a full service Florals and Floral Stylings company that specializes in weddings and events. We design memorable statement florals that’ll have your guests oohing and aahing all night long.

Our promise to you is to provide florals, designs, and styling elements that will represent you, your style and your message. We take pride in creating individualized designs that set your celebration apart from the rest and highlights the special features of your day - like your venue, attire and season. Through the use of customized colour palettes, floral ingredients, and different decor elements, we curate a proposal that is unique to each of our clients and brings out the very best of their aesthetic and personality.

We start with a focus on florals, but we also consider other elements to enhance our floral designs and create a cohesive look for the whole event, we call them “floral stylings”.
