Most recently, Alyssa has joined forces with Burstyn Inc., become the in-house event specialist for CANFAR’s Bloor Street Entertains and Can You Do Lunch?, consulted with and executed multiple events for Distillery Events (including Industry Night and W

edding Open House), managed Notable Life’s highly-attended annual award show, joined the committee City Moguls’ annual fashion show for philanthropy, partnered with Diner en Blanc, and provided all travel arrangements for guests, speakers and nominees of the Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards (CAFA). As an event manager based in Toronto, Alyssa is the principal conduit in which all event communication is handled on Centre Island. She has an extensive range of clientele, a broad understanding of the preparation and ex*****on of both small and large scale events, and has also participated in countless other events including the Toronto International Film Festival, the Toronto2015 PanAm/Parapan Am Games, Bassett Events’ Joe Carter Classic and the Organ Project Gala, Much Music Video Awards, Virgin Mobile Festival and Wakestock World Series.

Still reeling over last night’s . Congratulations to the honourees and nominees. Thank you to and for bringing your magic. All the credit to for pulling things together. And congratulations and cheers to - our leader - for being the reason that this incredible community comes together. I’ll miss our study sessions together ;)

A wise woman knows her limits.
A smart one knows she has none.

It is abundantly clear that I am where I am because of the women who support me. From my mothers who raised (and are still raising) me, to the ‘sisters’ I’ve grown up with, to the women I’ve met in motherhood,
to the absolute bosses I’ve had the honour of learning from and collaborating with professionally. It’s incredible what we can do when we lift each other high.

Here is to - and to a time when we continue to move forward enough that a day like today is no longer necessary. A day where we receive equality worldwide every day. 👊

Excelling in a fast-paced environment, Alyssa Volk has been rewarded with creative expertise through extensive experience which spans over a decade. In addition to corporate events, weddings, teambuilding workshops and private parties, she has also participated in countless other events including the Toronto International Film Festival, City of Toronto’s Doors Open, CANFAR’s Bloor Street Entertains and AIDSbeat, the Canadian Opera Company’s Operanation, the Alzheimer Society of Toronto’s Memory Ball, Bassett Events’ Joe Carter Classic and the Organ Project Gala, Canada 150 Heritage at Ontario Place and the Much Music Video Awards. Alyssa was also a member of the Venue Management and Event Services team for the Toronto2015 PanAm/Parapan Am Games, and have coordinated food and beverage service for several concerts (i.e. the Virgin Mobile Festival and Wakestock World Series), product launches, charity runs and various film and television shoots.

Most recently, Alyssa has executed multiple events for Distillery Events (including Industry Night and Wedding Open House), managed Notable Life’s highly-attended annual award show, joined the committee City Moguls’ annual fashion show for philanthropy, and provided all travel arrangements for guests, speakers and nominees of the Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards (CAFA).
