Listen, summer is almost here. It's time for us to start being out in the world, enjoying the heck out of it while we can. I'm heading to Ottawa for a delicious mini- break to see my amazing son perform at the Fringe Festival. And I want to keep the summer vibes going, with time on the water, bike rides on the island, taking in some live music, learning new creative ideas at some workshops and trying to really LIVE in this world. But of course, at the same time, I've got really expensive retail rent to pay so please don't forget, if you want to celebrate anyone in Toronto this summer, you can send them beautiful flowers! You can also now shop my special Weekender mini bouquet for any day pickup, and I have some fun happy things in studio like colourful tea towels, desktop plants, original art and vintage book page bunting. Heading into the weekend with a happy heart!
The studio won't be open Saturday, deliveries pre-ordered are going out but I'm taking my parents to a theater performance and it's a matinee because we're alllllll getting too old for late night shenanigans 👵 hope you have something fun and joyful planned too! If I'm honest, late spring is my favourite time of year. I love the summer heat, but as we hit late spring and the trees have their early flush of lime green leaves, the lilac and cherry blossoms are wafting perfume and we get things like snowball viburnum and bridal veil and sweet peas and peonies starting at the flower wholesalers-gah! It's too much! Late spring feels like hope & joy & optimism. This is the best time ❤️💐

Spring is here!!!! Ok, not really, but I do have spring bulb gardens which are possibly the next best thing 🌸 You can send a burst of happiness potted into the lovely lavender ceramic via the website ($85), but I also have a trio of random containers that need homes (see video clip- left to right $70, $55, $40) that aren't on there, so you can comment or DM me if you want to swing by and grab 🌷 These potted bulbs start as wee little sprouts as you see here and slowly grow over a couple of weeks and bloom into a mix of crocus, tulip, daffodils and hyacinth ♥️
