CALL FOR ARTISTS:
Join the Hispanic Canadian Arts & Cultural Association’s Digital Community
Mississauga, ON (June 16, 2022) – The Hispanic Canadian Arts & Cultural Association cordially invites Latin/Hispanic-Canadian artists and arts workers to join its brand new digital community. Over the last two years the HCACA has been in the process of designing and building a new website which includes a directory of Latin/Hispanic-Canadian artists and arts workers. The platform aims to connect Latin/Hispanic artists and cultural workers living and working in Canada to one another, to the broader public and to other artists and cultural workers in the hopes to strengthen the bonds between us, to generate more work opportunities for our artists and to position our creators as fundamental players in the Canadian artistic and cultural landscape.
The benefits of joining our online community and FREE directory of Latin American/Hispanic artists and arts administrators living in Canada include:
Exposure among the general public, HCACA’s patrons, arts programmers and curators across Canada and internationally
Networking opportunities and peer support among the Latin American/Hispanic artistic community in Ontario and across Canada
Increased work opportunities through the HCACA, other artists within the network and arts organizations across the country
The opportunity to share and collaborate with those from similar backgrounds and experiences
Contribution towards placing Latin American/Hispanic artists at the forefront of Canada’s artistic and cultural life
Increase your social media exposure through the HCACA’s networks
Joining is easy! Visit www.hispaniccanadianarts.org
and just follow the prompts to JOIN and tell us a little bit more about your artistic practice, how to contact you and where you are located. The HCACA’s staff will review your application and get back to you with instructions on how to log in, create and manage your profile. It’s all free!
The Hispanic Canadian Arts and Cultural Association is a non-profit association geared towards supporting the development of local artists, including musicians, visual artists, performers and others interested in Hispanic music and culture. The HCACA is based in the Greater Toronto Area but is open to participation and connections to groups and individuals outside the Greater Toronto area with similar interests.
