I normally keep some originals with just the Matt. Guess what happened??
Gloria and Marcello from bought this painting on the opening night and framed it overnight to show me the next day! And wow! They did such an amazing job at the framing! So Artist friends do check them out in Port Credit!
When you have collectors like them you feel ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’m the Quite Flower 🌸

I’m the quiet flower, not as bright,
So you can shine, bathed in light.
I stay subdued, so you can grow tall,
In fields or vases, I’m always small.

But even though I’m far from view,
I add something special, something true.
I give depth to the vibrant scene,
A soulful presence, serene and keen.

I may not stand out in the crowd,
But my existence whispers loud.
For while you bloom and take the stage,
I add a touch of grace to every page.

So my lady from the February sketches
‘Life Dance’ was gracefully hung in a beautiful home in Trenton. The frame and artwork blended in her home so well! Don’t you think so? I am quite tempted to do some large mixed media ones.

"Catharsis of Clay" encapsulates the profound human journey through a transformative metaphor. Just as clay molds and adapts, we navigate life's challenges, embracing vulnerability. Shattered by trials, we too find renewal. This artwork portrays the shattered pot's rebirth, symbolizing our innate resilience. From fragments, we reshape our lives, discovering new purpose and strength. The blue water signifies rejuvenation, mirroring our capacity for healing and flourishing post-adversity. This painting celebrates the indomitable human spirit, reminding us that from life's fragments, we emerge, like the clay pot, resilient and overflowing with the abundance of life, embodying the essence of catharsis and healing.

We had a continuous flow of visitors who came in to support us at the Arts Drive. Great weather, great organization by Arts on the Credit and above all was the great company of my fellow artists 🥰. Thank you to all those who dropped in and to those who took a piece of my art to their home.

In "Take a Moment to Breathe," I embarked on a journey to capture the serene horizon on canvas. The painting unfolds before you with a vast, unblemished sky, painted in clear, boundless blue that seems to stretch infinitely. The sky meets the horizon in a passionate blend of fiery red and deep crimson, seamlessly merging to create a sense of tranquility and wonder. As an artist, I added deliberate drips of paint that cascade down the canvas, akin to teardrops of emotion, lending an ethereal touch to the composition.

Beneath this celestial panorama, my brushwork unveils the crown jewel—a stretch of pristine turquoise sea that shimmers with a radiant, otherworldly glow. Its depths appear bottomless, inviting you to immerse yourself in its beauty and seek solace within its serene embrace.
