When someone asks for mostly greenery for a wedding or party, I get so excited! Greenery doesn't mean dull—it's fresh and delightful. Green is nature's neutral; it pairs beautifully with every colour and is restful on the eye. It speaks of regeneration and joie de vivre! ⁠

Nothing beats the satisfaction of seeing my vision come to life for our "weeklies"—clients who receive flowers every week. This week, I played with local dusky pink stock, delicately pink-tinged ninebark, allium siculum, and scabiosa seed pods. For the small pieces, I added carnations; for the large, I used Eremures. Simple elegance is captured in this arrangement featuring butterfly ranunculus.
The delicate beauty of the yellow, tissue-thin petals contrasts perfectly with the crisper, almost colourless hellebores, creating a satisfying and unique display. Achieving simplicity is not particularly easy, but we love a challenge. Hats off to the architects and designers who continue to drive the demand for simple structure and texture in floral design.

Absolutely loved being part of Sydney's wedding! 💍✨ last spring. Finally, a photo of her stunning bridal party from the newly released article on Wedding Chicks. It was an honour to create floral magic for my friend's beautiful daughter on her big day. Sydney's style is simply incredible —just like her mom, Jacqui. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree! 🌸 🌸 ⁠

Our Story

Simply put, we love flowers, and we love giving them to you! We are beyond thrilled to give flowers everyday, to be a part of your celebrations, your intimate moments, and your daily lives. We absolutely love sharing in the positive feelings flowers bring.

While living in England, our founder unearthed her love of all things botanic while moonlighting to help pay the rent. Up at dawn to condition flowers fresh from market, she worked as a florist’s assistant before heading to art school. Stripping foliage, putting stems in water, and bundling blooms into hand-tied bouquets, Rosie found her fine arts career, re-directed by the romance and peace of working with flowers. That presence informs our approach to everything we do at Quince.

Our shop is staffed with passionate floral artists who use flowers and your vision as their raw materials.

Quince Flowers was launched in 1997 and is located in Toronto’s Riverside district. Rosie is the co-chair of the Riverside BIA (Business Improvement Area) board. She lives in the east-end with her two sons, and partner Nina.
