After completing his culinary studies in Toronto and Israel, his passion became a career. Chef Dave's resume includes some of the top restaurants and catering firms in Tel Aviv, New York and Toronto. He has numerous years of experience in Japanese, Mid Eastern and French cuisine. His creations show the level of care and passion that have built within him over the years. Dave Grew up missing his sense of hearing. This gave him the gift of being able to smell much greater than others. Every Sunday morning as a young boy, he knew what was for dinner once his mom started cooking and the air filled with aroma. With the help of his cochlear implant, he has climbed the culinary rankings and became executive chef at an early age. His first restaurant was open when he was 22 years old.
Chef Dave holds a diverse culinary heritage that is both nurtured and natured. During his free time, he is usually found at local farmers markets checking out the freshly harvested products and discussing with the merchants about sustainable goods.
His focus is local, seasonally inspired wholesome foods that is treated delicately and simple to bring out the wow factor that every one today seeks when they eat.
