Today, I advocate not only for myself but for everyone who has been affected by this 10 dollar a day program that the government has implemented. Being a parent, I fully understand how this formula has offered relief for the parents but the government didn’t take into consideration how this has impacted child care workers. Cost-of-living has been on the rise, yet our wages seem to remain the same forcing childcare workers to leave their job. All we want is fair wages, and recognition for all the hard work we put into everyday ensuring your children have the best quality care and learning experience during their crucial years of preschool. Thank you to all those who showed up and supported. Much love ❤️
