Been pretty quiet on IG for a bit, but it doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy.

Don’t be afraid to place florals or greenery in your washroom. I like to go with low maintenance greenery, particularly tropical greens, like these sago palms. Just change the water every couple of days, and you’ll be golden for weeks, maybe even several.

Probably my favourite way to incorporate floral greenery into a home is by hanging eucalyptus on the shower head. I often get questions about how to do this. So let me answer them here.

What are the benefits?
It is a popular home remedy to help remedy colds and bronchitis.

What type of eucalyptus to use?
Most popular eucalyptus to use is Baby Blue or True Blue Eucalyptus.

Fresh or preserved?
Both work, however preserved eucalyptus will last longer. The scent of fresh eucalyptus will last about one week, whereas preserved eucalyptus can last several weeks or a couple of months. Preserved eucalyptus does not use harsh chemicals, and is treated to maintain its natural scent oils and shape.

A different kind of post from my usual wedding photos. Last month, .interiors reached out to me to help her design some staging arrangements.

Here, we went with beautiful fresh olive branches to compliment the open flow of the dining room room and large table. A simple arrangement, but it’s such a great way to bring in warmth and freshness to a space.
