- Composting and removing organic waste when buildings do not provide.
- Reduce approximately 2 lbs. of waste per 10 person lunch in comparison to other caterers.
- Driving environmentally friendly Autoshare and delivering brown bag lunches by bicycle.
- Member of Everpure Biodiesel Co-op, driving our vehicle with 100% biodiesel May-Sept.
- Using biodegradable non-pulp tableware products.
- ISO 14001 compliant, using an environmental management system which conforms to the Canadian Environmental Protection Act. Vert is proud to be one of the first members of the Green Shift Environmental Stewardship program and is striving to be a leader in sustainability in the catering industry.
