We're hiring:

1) Piano sales (acoustic & digital) -- commission + hourly compensation + mileage. Two positions - one focuses on Kingston, the other on Quinte West. Initiative, must be able to play piano at least a little bit and be excited to learn the technology.

2) Sales Asst. Manager -- roughly 10 hours wk to start. Hoping it builds. Attractive store displays, pricing and restocking, putting orders together, focus on one department at first, work with customers directly.

3) Lessons Asst. Coordinator -- two/three evening shifts weekly roughly 4-7. Updating weekly calendar, corresponding with students/parents, helping with lessons promotions, recitals, collecting lessons payments, incidental sales.

4) Guitar instructor -- ideally female, can read music or at least tablature.

5) Volunteer Art Curator -- set up displays in professional manner, make regular posts about a select piece of the artwork. Looking after the Bert Small Art Gallery. One day / month ??

6) University age music student(s) - 2 max - who broadly speaking wants to make a living in the music industry but doesn't want to go to university, at least not yet. Apprentice for 10 months (18hrs/wk) in a program especially designed for you. --business / performance / teaching. Modest tuition can include private lessons -- depends on tailored program. Opportunity to earn your tuition back so your "school year" ends with massive amount of experience but no debt.

Joe Bonsall, the charismatic tenor who spent 50 years singing with the celebrated country group the Oak Ridge Boys, has died at the age of 76.

RIVERSIDE STUDENTS -- Please note the Spring Recital start time has been moved a little earlier to 6:30. This is because of the happy problem that we have so many participants!!

Friday, June 28th at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, Trenton starting at 6:30.
--- desert or fruit/veggie trays welcome for afterwards
--- donations towards costs will also be welcome
--- this is a large hall, so you may bring as many guests as you like.
--- pre-schoolers should not attend, as silence is required at times and this will be a lengthy event for them.

Riverside Music's youth choir "Joyful Voices" recently performed at the Belleville Choral Society's event. Many thanks to our fearless leader Jane and to all the young people that sang so beautifully and energetically! Registrations are now being accepted for the September - Christmas season. Boys and Girls age 6-15 are welcome to join in!
