Over the last weekend we held our final 1v1 Tournament for 2024 to find out who the Top Gun Champion is for the year.

It was a hard fought event by all players, with loads of upsets and surprising comebacks. Easily our most tense and exciting 1v1 event to date.

Standouts of the day go to Cody Burris who is our previous Top Gun tournament winner and was looking to hold onto this title AND take home the banner of 2024 Champion. With very intelligent and skilled gun play, Cody was able to remain in the top bracket right into the grand finals.

The other major shoutout goes to Jacob Ogden who managed a convincing win in round 1 but then dropped down to the bottom bracket in round 2 after a tough loss to Hunter Chylinski. Jacob managed to go on a 3 game run to advance and take out Hunter in a rematch for the bottom bracket finals which earned his spot in the grand finals against Cody. After an extremely back and forth match, Cody was able to clutch up and come back after Jacob took and early 3-1 lead to win the match at 7-4.

5th - Cayden Douglas
6th - Austin Purdy
7th - Cason Douglas
8th - Joshua Deal

The 1v1 circuit will be returning in 2025 with a more structured format to offer players who enjoy the 1v1 style a fun series to compete and progress in. More details to come when Y2S1 releases!

Officially 1 year since Titan Action Games started.

It has truly been a dream come true.

It was a scary thing to take the jump into a brand new venture, all as a young family and being in an unknown transition period with our previous business. I was unsure if it was the right thing to do, especially while thinking of my family. I had wanted to do this venture for a long time but it never felt like the right time or my own doubts held me back. However after loads of encouragement from friends and family back in October 2023, I thankfully took the leap of faith and Titan Action Games was born.

My goal with this business was to create something unique and special that provides happiness and fun in a world that is far too often gloomy and dark. To make a space that individuals can come and connect with one another over this unique game. To offer a regular outlet for the community to come out for fun, all while providing a physical wellness aspect to boot. To help create lasting memories for parties and team building outings. To help bring out a smile on peoples face.

It is a wonderful privilege that one year later we always still see the endless smiles on players faces and I cannot believe this is my job.

I am beyond thankful for everyone who has supported TAG this past year. For all of you who come out to Open Play, all of the birthday parties and team events, all of the social media love, to all of the venues who have supported us, all of kind words people continue to share with us, and to the incredible community and friends I have made through this business.

I cannot wait to continue taking TAG to new heights in the upcoming year. There are so many exciting things in the works. I will continue to push hard to grow this positive and welcoming community.

To this day my favorite part of our business remains the same as when I first started. Seeing the smiling faces at each and every session we do. I had someone recently mention to me that they have seen so many photos of players playing our Laser Tag and the one consistent is the smiles and joy had by our attendees. It was a great reminder of why we are doing what we do.

It makes me so happy that this experience that was once a dream is a full reality and continues to push forward in such a strong way. It sounds cheesy, but it means the world that our business stands to bring joy into everyone who comes out to play.

All week long we are going to be looking back on the past year of Titan Action Games.

Today we wanted to look at one of our first reviews left back in Dec 2023. This was from Dexter, who has become a core part of our community. Since starting playing at Open Play, Dexter has competed in almost all of our tournament events, with several podium finishes.

It is truly incredible to see the journey of the amazing community behind us at Titan Action Games. individuals such as Dexter make it an absolute joy to create a unique, welcoming, and fun space for players to come out and connect with one another.

We look forward to what 2025 will bring and all of the new relationships and players we will get to meet!
