Help Wanted!

Part time summer position July 1-Aug 31 (potential for longer contract) hours negotiable

5-20hours/week $17/hr

Tasks:
-Perform light house keeping & cleaning duties
-Sweep & mop floors
-Make beds and change sheets
-Wash bedding & towels
-Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures
-Pick up debris and empty trash containers
-Pressure wash decks and patio
-Assist with set up and take down of table and chairs
-Assist with decorating and organizing venue

We have a few new followers on our page so I wanted to take the time to introduce ourselves. My husband Dean Douhaniuk and I purchased what was previously known as the Horseshoe Saloon in 2020 and have been dreaming about what we could do with this unique property since. The previous owner created a western saloon throwback that so many have grown to love.

Over the last few years we have been working at developing and adding on to create our own vision. Rustic Acres Resort is a rustic modern event venue with a western style. We have lots of renovations continuing to happen and ideas evolving so we appreciate everyone who has continued to follow along with us!

Last week was another busy but exciting week as we prepared for our second wedding. Thank you so much to Polly & Layne for hosting your wedding out at Rustic Acres I hope your day was perfect!…they held there ceremony on the patio and used our wooden arch as a backdrop. The barrels along with the arch are available to every couple who books with us to be decorated however you choose. Although dates are booking quickly for 2024 we still have some available. Send me a message if you are interested in learning more!

Our first wedding of 2023 took place this weekend and it looked magical! I only took a few pictures before they did the final decorating but it still looked amazing. There was seating for around 130 people on the patio for this particular event. If you are still looking for your 2024 wedding venue send us a message! We would love to give you a tour!

If you are like me and often wonder every time you stay somewhere new “I wonder where they bought that?” then you are in luck. I have started to bring in items from home decor & lifestyle brands that we intend to work with at Rustic Acres!

We will be decorating our cabins with items that are also available to purchase onsite or at the very least you will be able to easily find out where it was purchased. Our decor & fashion store will be operating as ModBarn once every thing is fully up and running. In the meantime I will be offering items in small amounts as a sneak peak and trial run. Stay tuned as I start to release a few of these items.
