After approximately 9 months of planning, Black Cab got to execute the Opening Night Awards and the Red Carpet for the 2024 JUNOS in Halifax, NS. Thanks to & for having me along for the ride. Awesome project with great people. I appreciate the faith and support. Special thanks to & for leading from the front and producing world class events. Also to & for all the hard work while representing Black Cab.

Mind blown…. I always thought my Great Grandad Jack ran a pub for his whole life with my Great Grandmother Maggie in the east end of London. Turns out she ran and helped out when he could . I actually found out he worked for a company called Websters. Although his business card says metal fabrication the part of the company he dealt with was providing soft goods to exhibitions at Olympia, Earls Court, probably in the 30’a and 40’s. So I guess events really is in the blood!

JUNO fever! Last month Black Cab had the privilege of working with an incredible team on the Junos Opening Night Gala, headed up by and the CARAS team. An evening where 50+ Junos are handed out along with 5 musical performances. A great night and a great team…. Months of planning for an incredible night. If it was easy everyone would do it!!

Music has always been an important part of my life. Over the Christmas break I started to reminisce about some of the awesome bands I’ve had the pleasure of working with during my career. Regardless of my role on the gig, when the house lights go down and the crowd cheers that’s where the magic is, be it 20 people or 50,000. We’ll be back there soon! Black Cab at it again. Feels pretty good to be doing what I do after such a long break. Thanks to RivardTV and everyone involved in this TV production for Manitoba 150. Working as Stage Manager (Live) & Floor Manager (TV) had its challenges (12 musical acts on my stage) but it was a great show. When does the headliner start only one minute late?!?

NEW News! The Class of Calgary 2020
We are excited to announce a cool new option for individual students, friend groups, and communities that would like to graduate at Drive Thru Grad 2020, that do not have a dedicated school collective or time. We want to celebrate every graduate in Calgary, and this is where you can do that. These time slots will not focus on one school's brand but will be dedicated to celebrating the heart and soul and community spirit of our great city.

Check out the registration page, rally your group, you can now select "Class of Calgary" as a choice. There are a few time slots available on June 20th today! (More exciting news to come!)

**If a timeslot becomes full with a particular school group, we may need to adapt or change some times.
