It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our President and CEO, William “Bill” Gouldin Jr.

Bill always sought out ways to support local small business owners, Virginia educational institutions, and the independent florist and garden center community.

He deeply enjoyed every aspect of our industry from product research to ways to volunteer with flowers. We're going to miss his knowledge, passion, attention to detail, and most of all his laughter and fun nature.

Join us for a "Modern Take On Everyday Design, Elevating to Extraordinary!" on Sunday, April 14th Chesapeake .
It will feature the amazing floral stylings of Teleflora Education Specialist Donald Yim Aifd Pfci. Donald is a wonderful presenter and educator and will share ideas, tips and techniques that will bring a fresh perspective to your Spring and Mother's Day designs. He will share valuable tips for photographing your designs for your website and social media that will help you showcase your work effectively.
In the morning, we will have the Hands on workshop with Donald, where you will learn to create Modern Compote Couture design using alternative armatures to create the design. This Hands on Workshop is limited to 25 students and is an additional charge to the afternoon lunch and stage program. Register early to secure your spot! If the workshop fills up there will be observation seating available for an additional charge by clicking on the "Gallery Seating " ticket when you register.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy lunch, shopping, networking and a fabulous Stage Program with Donald on the latest trends for Spring. He will open your eyes and imagination to beautiful, unique color and floral combinations. Learn how to rebrand yourself and stand out in your market and go from "who did that '' to "I know who's shop that came from"! The Colonial Virginia Teleflora Unit invites you join us NEXT WEDNESDAY 28th for Bring on the Green! Helen Miller AIFD and Jerome Raska AIFD will be discussing plant sales and designing with cut greens. They will focus on merchandising, selling and social media as well as tips on educating customers on the best plants for special occasions, trendy plants that are easy to keep alive and some practical, quick and easy to implement design ideas. We will showcase several Teleflora containers, talk about grouping for display vignettes and some leaf manipulation tricks to add value to designs.
