Thank You to everyone who supported the Olde Tyme Christmas at the barn on Saturday. From the terrific vendors (apologies to some vendors I did not get a photo of), families who brougt their children to see Santa, shoppers who supported local artisans, for donations to the Hampton Food Basket, to Santa Claus for your kindness to the vendors and everyone you met, to Jacob Chevarie Music for the live entertainment (it was beyond awesome) and to my family and friends who helped in any way the day of. We truly appreciate the support and look forward to Olde Tyme Christmas in 2025! May each and every one of you be richly blessed over this Christmas season.

Santa was fabulous with the kids, taking time to ask them for their wish list and calming the little ones who were not quite sure they wanted to come too close. Blue Bunny Beads, a young entrepreneur has taken part in a number of markets at Bates Barn. Using natural healing Gemstone beads, Angela makes jewelry, bookmarks and tea infusers. 25% of her proceeds are donated to the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto where she has been a cardiac patient.

Bates Barn | Weddings and Special Events Venue

Bates Barn is a rustic venue with modern amenities for Weddings and Special Events. Our Beautiful facility hosts Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, Receptions, Business Meetings and Special Events. Bates Barn is surrounded by 15 acres of farmland with picturesque views of the Belleisle Bay and scenic countryside. We are conveniently located in Southern New Brunswick between Saint John, Fredericton and Moncton.

Bates Barn provides Brides & Grooms with a romantic place to share their wedding vows and reception. Your Family and Friends will celebrate with you while taking in the barn's breathtaking ambiance and beautiful views of the Belleisle Bay.

Bates Barn has seating for 175+ and added space in the Mezzanine\Loft overlooking the main reception\dance floor festivities. The Barn is a 42' X 82' wood structure with exposed majestic beams providing a rustic yet modern elegant feel for your wedding or special event.

What makes us different from other rustic barn spaces is that we can host year round weddings and special events. Our main floor offers indoor climate control for year round comfort. The main level also has a custom built bar and wheelchair accessible washrooms. The lower level has a dressing room for the Bride\Attendants, clean-up kitchen and washrooms.
