I just read another heartbreaking story of a beautiful soul taken far too soon by cancer. In the past two months, we’ve lost two cherished high-school friends to breast cancer. It’s devastating, especially knowing that breast cancer has one of the highest remission rates. This relentless disease impacts all of us in profound ways.

Here's a retrospective look at some of my favourite pictures from the last 5 parties over the last 7 years. I'm so fortunate to have such a large group of friends that supported me throughout the years. We've had Ghostbusters, Stormtroopers, Devo, Hulk Hogan, the General Lee, KITT, Marty McFly, Dr. Evil and so much more including a marriage proposal! Thank you all for the amazing memories. As much as it pains me to bring this tradition to an end, it warms my heart that you all came along for the ride. This event was conceived as I sat with my mother as she received her Chemotherapy at Trillium Health Center surrounded by people of all ages, cultures, religions and genders. The look of fear and anxiety on their faces made me want to do something... anything, to help. Thank you all for helping me realize my dream to bring old friends back together while doing something good for those in need. I know maybe not every dollar we donated goes to those in need, but it sure beats doing nothing. ❤

Join me for the last "hurrah" on June 14, 2024 at Club 54.
