First time seeing at a few days ago. Wasn’t sure what to expect had never really listened to them before. I checked out their Spotify before the show and I knew I was going to love them. They were the right mix of heavy and melodic and they had the room moving.

What. A. Night. Rumble at the Burt was amazing. It’s been an incredible ride from the sherb. Last year I didn’t get a chance to see the whole show as I had prior commitments. 1200+ people at coupled with the incredible line up of talent made for an unforgettable night. Well I am going to try to stay current with the shows and other things I’m shooting. So here’s the kickoff. This month has been insanely busy both personally and professionally. I have always said show up for the opening band because you never know who they will become. Maybe they will be the next big thing. With that said I showed up early to the Dropkick Murphys show and was not disappointed by they definitely set the tone for the rest of the night. Make sure you are showing up and showing love.

Been slow on posting here as I’ve been busy and also just taking time to enjoy life and the summer. Last weekend I had the chance to shoot 3/4 nights of the Burt Block Party. This is always such a fun event and so much work goes into it. Sunday was wrapped up with the legendary it was my first time seeing him play live and he absolutely killed it. I promise to post more. Maybe. 🤔

A film shot from my yashica tlr. We I went to Nevada last year after when we were young we stayed out in the desert at a wonderful tiny home on a ranch. Each morning I would wander out into the fields and just look around. I find that landscape so interesting. I love the flora and fauna that exists but am always on the lookout for critters. This is one of those shots.

It’s not very often I get a really great shot of a drummer. They are always stuck in the back and behind the kit. Well I got a good one of my bud absolutely assaulting the kit. Cory has done so much for the metal scene here in Winnipeg. With his relentless work ethic building up to now opening a venue I hope nothing. It amazing things for him. Love ya bud.
