We’re so excited to introduce our new event rental business! Borrowed and Blue is here to provide simple, stylish rentals to help elevate your special events. We’re starting small with a few key pieces, but we can’t wait to grow and add even more options over time!

Something you may all not know about me is I loooove table numbers. I know it’s weird. I used to add TONS of new table number designs to my DIY list every year and without fail most people would end up gravitating to the same 2-3. Which is totally fine, you do you!! But table numbers are one place I think you can easily elevate your decor without breaking the bank. And you wouldn’t believe the number of times I’ve gotten comments on unique table numbers. So don’t be shy!

We had a few fun and unique table numbers this year but these runners definitely won the prize for easy, versatile and so dreamy. The amount of people who commented on them at the wedding, as well as after on socials was insane and made me sooo happy. Emily initially was planning on doing a cardstock table number to match the rest of her stationery, then she was considering something to contrast like a natural stone before I had the idea to try to incorporate it into the runner. I wasn’t able to find much online in terms of inspo but as soon as I did the first mock up, I knew I needed to make them even if Emily ended up not wanting them. Thankfully she and I were always super aligned on vision and they integrated perfectly with everything else we had planned.

Fun fact - I was able to salvage the pieces of cheesecloth I used from runners that had been stained and were unusable. Cheesecloth runners tend to have a very short life because they’re so easily stained and so delicate that stain removal can be very difficult. I am always pumped when I find a use for damaged ones! I cut the pieces I needed out, avoiding the stains, hemmed the raw edges, and used my Cricut to cut out the vinyl lettering.

As a diehard romcom fan, Runaway Bride was one of my favourite movies growing up. This shoot took on many different themes over the span of its planning and embraced a bunch of fun elements but I’ll always look back on this one as our own take on a Runaway Bride.

Made to wait at the altar (who’s got time for that?) she takes the essentials; her cake, disco ball, flowers and fur, and goes for a joyride to the coast before wrapping up the night with a killer party for one. 🎂 🫧

If you’ve reached out inquiring about decor outside of a planning package in the past, you’ve probably received a reply saying we couldn’t accommodate you… Well, I’m excited to say that after months of overhauling and re-organizing Elysian’s decor inventory, we’re FINALLY able to launch decor rentals and decorating packages for 2024 (better late than never, right?)! We have nearly 5000 pieces, loads of which are new for this season and more even to come.

To kick this off, book either your rentals or decor package between now and April 30, and receive 20% off all rental rates! Signed rental agreement and deposit must be received before April 30 for the promo to apply, applicable only to new bookings for the 2024 wedding season.

My face when I opened my e-mail last night to find had let me know I am a finalist for TWO this year 🥹😍

I am so so honoured and grateful to be able to share that I am one of three finalists for each Wedding Planner of the Year and Wedding Officiant of the Year! Thank you so much to everyone who cheers me on every day, keeps pushing me to be my best and puts their trust in me. I am so lucky to have a career I’m so passionate about and such a vibrant community around me 🥰🫶🏻

Winners will be announced next Saturday at the WPIC Kickoff & Awards Gala in Mississauga 🙏🏻🤞🏻 Congrats to the other finalists in all categories!! 🥳
