Duties will include the following for onsite and external events:
· Drive the truck or cargo van and help load and unload the vehicle when required (heavy lifting required)
· Assist with the completion and ex*****on of the overall design plan
· Work diligently and in a professional manner on site with various team members and vendors
Assist event installations
· Remove packaging from products
· Assist with table decor
· Assist with backdrop decor
· Draping
· Cleaning and arranging centrepieces on site
· Moving event furniture and props to create the overall design
Assist event removals
· Assisting with the packaging of decor items
· Assisting with the removal of all Paras Events items from the venue
· Ensure all items are loaded back onto the vehicle as per the packing list
· Loading of items in the truck in a systematic, safe and logical manner to avoid damage during transportation.
· Unload the truck at the Paras Events warehouse
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 1 year of experience within the event decor industry is an asset
· Experience driving a cargo van and/or 16' truck is mandatory. Clean driving record
· 2+ years with a G License
· Organized and fast learner
· Positive attitude is a MUST
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Great team working abilities.
· Detail oriented.

Paras Events is looking for a full-time candidate who can manage and coordinate logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service activities. We are a full service event design, décor and event rentals business specializing in weddings, corporate events and social events.
Duties will include the following for onsite and external events:
· Preparing and supervising the completion of packing lists prior to pick up by the event team. This includes lifting, moving, fixing and cleaning items prior to loading or pick-up.
· Coordinating, communicating, and/or facilitating the pickup, delivery, setup, and take down to ensure the seamless transportation/retrieval of event goods.
· Ensuring all items required for up-coming events are in stock, clean, and free from damage.
· Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse (on going cleaning, repairing and assistance with the physical inventory).
· Ability to identify low stock and alert management when the inventory has to be replenished.
· Performing deliveries and pickup of items.
· Load the vehicles in a safe and diligent manner
· Processing paperwork such as packing lists and inventory order requests.
· Coordinate pick-up and deliveries with vendors/suppliers.
· Scheduling and managing additional warehouse staff when required
· Other various administrative duties as required in the warehouse.
· Managing a warehouse (3,000-3,500 square feet)
· Fixing/building/constructing/repairing items when required
