I’m officially on holiday! 🥳🎄❄️☃️

Two weeks off my school photography job. Whoohoo! I have 4 shoots planned over the holiday and I’m so excited about all of them. Two in particular will be out of my comfort zone and I’m looking forward to the creativity and growth it will bring.

So grateful for this family. I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding and now I get to see their family grow 😊

1. They are more unique! Not as many people think to get winter photos.
2. The white snow is great at reflecting light.
3. You can get playful with the snow!
4. It makes people want to get close and cozy.
5. It’s my slow season so there is usually more availability.
6. The magical feeling of snow on trees.

Lake spiders, sinking docks & a special announcement🤫🤭 made for a unique wedding experience.

Me and a helpful groomsman told the bridesmaids “nothing! Nothing is happening, just keep looking forward” as we swept and kicked spiders off their dresses 🕷️😬 The amount of spiders on that dock was horrifying and fascinating.

For the first time ever I got to do pregnancy announcement photos at the wedding! The couple let me know a few days before that only their close friends and family knew and we needed to keep it a secret 🤐 Cat’s out of the bag now and I’m so excited for these two!!

The bride, groom and friends and family did all the decor and design for the ceremony and reception and I was very impressed! 👍👍

This was my last wedding of my season. I’m so grateful for all the wonderful and beautiful couples I had the pleasure and honour of photographing their wedding day. Thank you all so much!

I’ve known her since the early years of elementary school and I am so honoured to be able to document her wedding day.

A cowgirl wedding on a ranch, how beautifully rustic 🐎👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️

This day owes a big fat thank you to .planner for all the beautiful and hard work. The decor for the ceremony and reception, the flowers, the private vow setup, the bar, the organization and energy all came together thanks to Candace and her team.

Owl Mountain Ranch is a gorgeous wedding venue for anyone looking for a rustic outdoor wedding.

I’ll let ya in on a small part of my plans for CHANGE in 2025. I would love it if I never had to turn down a shoot in Grand Forks.

This year and last I had an overwhelming amount of inquiries from Grand Forks and Christina Lake. It’s only overwhelming because I have had to turn many down, It’s nearly a 3 hour drive for me.

The goal is to move back to GF to be closer to my main client base and travel to the Okanagan for weddings. Please let me know if you hear of any IT related jobs or electrical apprenticeship jobs.🙏😁

So excited for these two to have their first child!🩷👶🩵

Lying awake in bed while ideas dance around in my mind of all the CHANGES to come for 2025.🤞

You know how you have points in your life where things feel stagnant and your body throws you into fight or flight just so you can make a change? I’ve been feeling this hard lately. It’s time to do something about it 😃

I have big changes and big plans for my work life in 2025. Everything is still in planning mode but once I get a good grasp on how to move through these changes, I’ll let you in on it 😉

Beauty and the beast is NOT a dig at the groom 😆

This couple puts on plays in their community and for their first dance they choreographed the entire thing, including their wedding party and cute son for a portion of it. They made a mashup of songs that were in the plays and when beauty and the beast came on, my heart turned into goo 🫠🤍
