I’m attending my first WEDDING EXPO TOMORROW! Send me a clover for good luck!🍀😘🙏

I’m a little nervous, especially for the vendor social 😬 Although I may seem extremely extroverted at weddings and family shoots, I can be very introverted outside of photoshoots.

The expo is in Nelson. I’m looking forward to meeting Kootenay vendors and getting established as a wedding photographer in the area that I will be living nearer to very soon!

I’ll try to share some photo and video of my booth and the expo today and tomorrow, if you’re interested you can hit my stories up 😘

These two are getting married this year! Their inquiry was extra special…

When I opened the inquiry and read “We both were in the wedding party for a wedding you shot back in June. We both loved your energy and the end result of your photos. We would love to book you for our wedding day. We look forward to hearing from you.” I WAS ELATED and so excited to be their photographer! 😃

Don’t just step, jump out of your comfort zone! It’s where the most growth happens.

I’ve been wanting to do a night urban shoot for years now but wouldn’t take the steps to make it happen. I finally decided to just DO IT!!! It turned out fabulous and I learned a lot.

Last June I gave away a couple’s photoshoot for pride month and these two are my winners 🙂 I felt instantly comfortable around these two and we had so much fun. They were the perfect people to try something new with. Thanks guys!💙

I’m officially on holiday! 🥳🎄❄️☃️

Two weeks off my school photography job. Whoohoo! I have 4 shoots planned over the holiday and I’m so excited about all of them. Two in particular will be out of my comfort zone and I’m looking forward to the creativity and growth it will bring.

So grateful for this family. I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding and now I get to see their family grow 😊

WINTER SHOOTS!🧤❄️🧣 Why I love them:

1. They are more unique! Not as many people think to get winter photos.
2. The white snow is great at reflecting light.
3. You can get playful with the snow!
4. It makes people want to get close and cozy.
5. It’s my slow season so there is usually more availability.
6. The magical feeling of snow on trees.

Lake spiders, sinking docks & a special announcement🤫🤭 made for a unique wedding experience.

Me and a helpful groomsman told the bridesmaids “nothing! Nothing is happening, just keep looking forward” as we swept and kicked spiders off their dresses 🕷️😬 The amount of spiders on that dock was horrifying and fascinating.

For the first time ever I got to do pregnancy announcement photos at the wedding! The couple let me know a few days before that only their close friends and family knew and we needed to keep it a secret 🤐 Cat’s out of the bag now and I’m so excited for these two!!

The bride, groom and friends and family did all the decor and design for the ceremony and reception and I was very impressed! 👍👍

This was my last wedding of my season. I’m so grateful for all the wonderful and beautiful couples I had the pleasure and honour of photographing their wedding day. Thank you all so much!

I’ve known her since the early years of elementary school and I am so honoured to be able to document her wedding day.

A cowgirl wedding on a ranch, how beautifully rustic 🐎👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️

This day owes a big fat thank you to .planner for all the beautiful and hard work. The decor for the ceremony and reception, the flowers, the private vow setup, the bar, the organization and energy all came together thanks to Candace and her team.

Owl Mountain Ranch is a gorgeous wedding venue for anyone looking for a rustic outdoor wedding.

I’ll let ya in on a small part of my plans for CHANGE in 2025. I would love it if I never had to turn down a shoot in Grand Forks.

This year and last I had an overwhelming amount of inquiries from Grand Forks and Christina Lake. It’s only overwhelming because I have had to turn many down, It’s nearly a 3 hour drive for me.

The goal is to move back to GF to be closer to my main client base and travel to the Okanagan for weddings. Please let me know if you hear of any IT related jobs or electrical apprenticeship jobs.🙏😁

So excited for these two to have their first child!🩷👶🩵
