We have been staying quiet and laying low….but now……

We would like to formally announce that we have finally completed the arduous task of being the first “brick and mortar”wedding venue in rural westman that is legal!! (actual commercial A2 assembly occupancy building) We may have started first but we are the last to finish as there is challenges in the country as far as regulations building codes and politics. An A2 assembly building has to conform to the highest standards of safety and building codes. Semi public water testing with the office of the drinking water, Health Permitted, Liquior Permitted, Occupancy Permited Fire Inspected and Permitted. We join our colleagues at Oakland estates to be able to provide a second option for "rural weddings" for westman and Beyond.

We have a very long list of people to thank to get us here, our architects, engineers our dear friend Bill Our building code consultants, mla’s from Brandon and agaziz joe Kasprick manager of inspection services for the province of mb the town of Neepawa planning district keystone planning district and “the new” councilmen and “current” reeve of the rm of Cornwallis, Brandon heating and plumbing, Westman fire protection, office of the fire commissioner Tanya LaBuick president of the Brandon Chamber our electricians our friends at cw2 construction, ambassador plumbing Toromax doors Keller Farms, manager of brandon building inspectors for the city brandon, Brandon’s fire department inspections officers, and our new fire chief, wawanesa insurance, and all of our suppliers just to name a few. And to those I forgot it’s been so long the paperwork immense. Our friends and family, neighbors and staff who listened to our saga and wiped my tears. Our past couples for believing in us and choosing us anyway.
We had a lot of advice along the way from many others who have attended weddings here. And a special shout out to Jessie owner at Oakland estate for giving me encouraging words and hope in the final hours.
All of our fellow vendors and preferred caterers you know who you are and why I don’t list you! And of course Dean!!! WE DID IT!!! With a team of people we Did it and we owe our team for our success.

All I can say is thank you from the bottom of our hearts …….And don’t ever say to us you can’t!

Because oh yes we will!!
